The follow up is the issue. They have a full week to recover physically and emotionally. I am sure you would agree it all comes to a naught if they fall to bad habits again in Melbourne.
I suppose the positive here is that everyone (barring Misbah), has used the first test of the series to find confidence. Rather than doing it in the last test. It augurs well for the series.

Fair point , but I think Yasir , Wahab etc have potential. They need some application.

Since the beginning of the England series, Amir and Yasir have average 15 while Sohail has averaged 20 in test cricket.

That's decent in my eyes.

Wahab Riaz though, hasn't been that good.

Average of teens is pretty much a tailender average by any standard. I don't see anything cheerful about that.

It's not cheerful by any means, but it's not as bad as we make out to be. Wahab has been woeful but Amir, Yasir, and Sohail aren't worse than the tailenders of other teams.

hmm.. So now these guys are supposedly good tailenders. In current scenario: Teams don't have such a long tail and whatever little tail they have, the averages is higher than what Pakistan has.
