They will play.
I am happy to see a boycott. It may force every one to work their back off to get the lost revenue back.otherwise its an easy piggyriding on bcci's back.we will break away from the same group nonsense for goodI cannot speak for all of India or Indian supporters.
I for one am thrilled and have been praying for this escalation and comlete wrecking of ICC.
Please tag Indian poster I'm missing and let me if you are really angered by this "boycott"

Everyone loves moneyI just hope PCB will not reverse the boycott decision so that BCCICC suffers a loss of $300+ millions.
Bhakts love money a lot and best way to hurt them is by hurting their pocket.![]()
PCBMany Indians low key wanted BCCI to boycott games against Pakistan but BCCI didn’t do it for obvious ($$) reasons. Worse they decided to do all the handshake performative drama that still doesn’t make sense. If you decide to play, do it properly. If not, better boycott. Also dedicating wins to soldiers and all also doesn’t make sense. What if you lose a game?
PCB did what many Indians wanted BCCI to do.
All this talk about money on both sides is childish. No one is putting or taking away money from your (fans) pocket. Only thing is T20s will get more popular which one can dislike.

For a country that still showed up to play three games of Asia Cup after Banyan ul Maroos, these guys are still gonna follow the rules and regulations.
They cant violate ICCs rules and regulations. They pull any thing stupid, CAS will come into play.
It was genius work. They saw the opportunity the BCB presented by going against the BCCI and India, like the rest of their country and played their cards perfectly:
- They showed courage by standing with the BCB and fighting for justice. The same rules should apply to every board in the ICC, regardless of how much revenue each board brings in. Being the only board to support the BCB was very courageous.
- They caused huge panic in the ICC and the BCCI by declaring that the India game would be boycotted due to the treatment of Bangladesh. You could see this panic even seep into the Indian players with their captain, Yadav, declaring that they would be travelling to Colombo. Literally begging the Pak players to play with them.
- The whole world saw just how much pull Pakistan has in the sport of cricket. Not only is Pakistan one of the most successful cricketing dynasties, they have been at the forefront of nearly every major innovation in cricket. You cannot bully the PCB or isolate Pakistan, they simply have too much pull and far too many friends and this was made clear to all.
- Finally, agreeing to play the match, after the insistence of friendly countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the UAE shows that Pakistan was only ever looking for justice for its brotherly nation. The BCB and it's people will never forget that Pakistan stood by them in their time of need. Sri Lanka also owes Pakistan big time for saving their ticket revenues from the upcoming game.
- I can't believe that it has to be said but there was zero benefit for Pakistan to actually go ahead with the boycott. The threat of the boycott had the same effect and gave the PCB everything they wanted, without jeopardizing their progress in the tournament or having them on the hook for lost revenues.
Credit has to be given where it is due. This was done really well.
Pakistan is already your mortal enemy. Bangladesh is now on Pakistan's side. Sri Lanka is also going to be leaning Pro-Pakistan moving forward.U turn was done well?
U turn was done well?
I love your claim that not playing in a prestigious world cup is somehow no repercussions or 14 out of 16 countries rejecting your security concerns and voting against you about security concerns is somehow shedding light on that security concerns. There is delusion and there is this.Pakistan is already your mortal enemy. Bangladesh is now on Pakistan's side. Sri Lanka is also going to be leaning Pro-Pakistan moving forward.
Yes, every objective was achieved. The BCB gets no repercussions for insulting India and shedding light on their security concerns and Pakistan gets to look like a hero in the eyes of the world.
It's only a U-turn if you were dumb enough to believe they were boycotting just for the sake of boycotting a cricket match and not to pressure the ICC and BCCI to give concessions.
…
I, personally, was supporting the boycott to understand what happens when PCB plays the biggest hand they have to play at their disposal.
I guess, we will have to wait until next ICC tournament to see how long will this bluff works for PCB.
