Pakistan's Haider Ali secured a bronze medal in the Men's Discus Throw F37 event at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024, achieving a season's best throw of 52.54 meters on his final attempt. This marks his fourth Paralympic medal, adding to his impressive collection.

Ali's journey to the podium began with a strong first attempt, reaching 52.28 meters. Although he faced setbacks in his next four attempts, he persevered and delivered a remarkable final throw.

Uzbekistan's Tolibboy Yuldashev dominated the competition, taking the top spot with a throw of 53.48 meters and later surpassing his own record with a 57.28-meter throw to claim the gold medal. Canada's Jesse Zesseu earned the silver medal with a throw of 53.24 meters.

Haider Ali's Paralympic legacy extends beyond Paris, having won a gold medal in Tokyo and previously securing silver and bronze medals in Beijing and Rio. His direct qualification for the 2024 Games was a testament to his exceptional performance at the 2022 Asian Para Games in Hangzhou.

No real talk about this guy. WHY???? Because he is a Paralympian?

Anyways. congrats to you brother. You made us proud.

Apart from officials from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and members of the National Paralympic Committee, there was no one present to welcome this guy at Islamabad Airport.

Why no big recognition for this guy?

Is he disabled, that's why??

Haider Ali's impressive record of four Paralympic medals, including a recent bronze in Paris, shockingly remains under the radar. It's disheartening to see para-athletes' achievements consistently overlooked, seemingly not glamorous enough for mainstream recognition.
