No doubt this australian's team is as good as the precedent even better i guess.

Australia is the toughest country for our bats to adjust too. But we did have a warm up game and played two tests in NZ. 97/8 is unacceptable

Three days of practice against a group of teenagers is wholly insufficient when playing in a country where the pitches are much quicker and bouncier than anything our batsmen have ever experienced.

I understand that modern cricket entails intense scheduling pressures. But the England tour was the template for how to prepare for every tour outside Asia. We gave ourselves enough to time to adapt to local conditions and for the coaches to work with the players.

If ever there was a tour where you needed maximum preparation and acclimatisation - this was it given how we've struggled for years in Australia. Heck, even if we couldn't get a local team to play us - have a cricketing version of a 7-a-side in an intra-squad match for all I care. At least get some sufficient practice before entering the Lion's Den.

I don't remember any good test match series against AUS & Saffers since the 90's.These two teams have almost always had the measure of us.Against england NZ a least we put up some fight. But these two just massacre us every time.

The Aus of the 1990's even gave us tough time in our home grounds. They won one test in 1998 & convincingly beat us in 2002 series.

Now those same guys that got their handed to them come on tv & say " Hum log fearless cricket khelte thay". Yeah right, thanks for cricinfo & youtube we can see how fearles you were!!
