Panthers (344/7) defeat Stallions (324) by 20 runs in a high scoring thriller in the match 9 of the Champions One-Day Cup 2024

Saim is a proper all format batter only a matter of time when he dominates internationals also.

Zaman khan looks very ordinary, bowling leg side with fine leg up.

Is he injured? Didn't seem to have much pace today and was bowling slow enough that Haris moved up to the stumps. Ended up getting a wicket because of it but it wasn't due to good bowling.

He lacks control. He made a similar costly mistake during the Asia Cup against Sri Lanka when we needed to defend 4 from the last ball. He didn't ball to his field, and SL qualified for the final and we got eliminated.

This is why talents like Sam Ayub need to be backed. He will have his struggles but I think we are seeing the type of potential he has. Is a bit like Fakhar who needs to reign himself in a bit, get fully set and then unleash. Really impressive stuff from Saim.

With a slingy action it's so difficult to gain complete control. Only Malinga managed to do it. That too in his latter part of his career. When he mastered those pace and slow yorkers.

Devastating bowling today against the Stallions, conceding 62 runs in just 6 overs so far at an economy rate of 10.33, which includes 2 wide balls and 1 no-ball.

Scoring 150 in 50 overs cricket is not a easy feat.

Kudos to saim and hopefully this knock will give him confidence and he performs well for Pakistan as well.

Fakhar and saim can be a very deadly opening combo in t20is and odis as well.

Haris has to come good as well.

Disappointing there is no speed gun, would love to know what pace Raza is bowling with. Looks like 140 pace and his action looks nice. Seems to have decent height too.

Hope he is managed properly because he looks like a tantalizing prospect.

Ali Raza has got good bounce and very good pace as well.

He was the most impressive pacer in u-19 world cup.
One to watch out for.

Zimbabar is the biggest superstar in pakistan cricket right now. LOL.

Shan is such boring batsman. He should give up cricket and focus on some other career

I would like Ali Raza to say some beautiful words to Zimbabar like he said to haris. Haha

What even is the point of Shan Masood in this tournament? I thought this tournament was for youngsters? Not failures?

Shan ? Talat ? M Harris has bunch of duds in his team. He should have opened during this entire tournament.

Raza is a generational talent like Amir. Bookmark this post.

I already called it after the match against U19 Aus
Amir could bowl at 150 kph in 2009/10. Raza looks decent but is nowhere near young Amir.

Let's wait and see a close up of his seam. From that you can start to make predictions of greatness or just another bowler

Saim bowls leggies and offies just like livingstone any one with a brain can use him in white ball format but they nevrr use him

Shadab stepped onto the field to advise Saim

It was nauseating how much the commentator was glazing over singles taken from set batsmen. Considering the run rate and how they've been set, boundaries is what they needed, not knocking around singles.

Babar’s vision has engulfed the team. Playing for their own performances rather than teams

How many dot balls did Tayyab do to get to this century? Finished at a 86 SR to get to his century while chasing 345 and team still being well behind the chase.

Shameful how many players play to pad their own numbers.

As usual commentators applauding such an innings and saying it has put the team in a good position for finishers to do their job. They need nearly 12 an over for the last 10 to win. In no way is that a good position.

This chase was beyond the capabilities of limited batsmen like tayyab and Babar. All they look to do is statpad

I've always admired Adil Amin. Much worse players like Asif Ali khushdil and iftikhar have had a free ride in Pak side

such horrible innings from Tayyab, if you're going to score a 100 in a chase of 345, you'd at the least expect it to be a run-a-ball.

Enjoyed Zaman Khan channeling his inner Shahid Afridi at the end. Some really clean hits.

Bowling standards of pakistan even at domestic tournament is preety poor

All these six hitter were/ ere exposed at international level .
