First saw this guy bat in the U-17 carnival last year and was immediately impressed- playing classy shots all around the ground. The intent in wich he played his shots, his technique and class all mighty impressive- your typical traits of a young Indian batsman.

He's been signed by the Thunder Academy and has become the youngest player to be signed by the academy.

He's on the brink of U-19 selection.

This is the only video I magaed to scalvage

I'm not contesting that he's talented and will reply on the observations of PPers, but I am also not sure if the clip represents the best of his talents, or the high praise being given him.

Except (and that too somewhat) for the last ball where he steps out and drives, what I'm seeing is a young man with good hand eye coordination, not necessarily with the batting skills and technique of a 'rising star'.

I suppose we will find out in time. Best of luck to him.

This is the best I could find.

He isn't a natural T20 player. I've seen him bat in the nets for Thunder Academy and in game scenarios for NSW U-17 and he's one heck of a player.

Ok. Look forward to his development.
