Looks good for the players but not sure if its enough?

Match fees for FC matches has been doubled and also increased for the One-day and T20 matches.Good for the players.

Where is match fee details for u19 tournaments and grade 2 tournaments? Also where is prize money details for oneday tournament, Pakistan cup, u19 tournaments and grade 2 tournaments?

I am glad to see the financial upgrades! Looking at each player playing for FY, it adds up to a considerable amount of cash! Good job PCB

The Player's Match Fee/Salary increments are great for the players. Well Done PCB! Finally some good news for the local Domestic Players (esp the non-PSL players)

50,000 per match is pretty decent, how many games do each player play on average? 10? For Pakistan that is decent. They are still far behind there Indian counterparts (yes, the BCCI makes more money but they also have a bigger base then the PCB).

I think on average, each player should be making 75k-1 lakh per FC match (that's not even a $1000 USD).

Either way good job PCB. They are heading in the right direction.

Also, the T20 tourney prize money is greater than the premier FC tournaments?!

Not trying to make this an India vs Pakistan debate...but want to give an insight into how much Indian FC cricketers earn, check this article out:

https://www.thequint.com/sports/cricket/indian-cricketers-salaries-virat-dhoni-7-crore-a-year

A quote from the article:

"...domestic cricketers as first XI players will now get Rs 35,000 per day in a four-day game making their match fees rocket from Rs 40,000 to Rs 1.40 lakh per match. Add to it the TV rights money will make their per match fee go up to Rs 3 lakh per match."

Solid fees. I know people who are working for 25,000 a month salary. Getting paid 50,000 for a Quaid E Azam Trophy match is more than enough.

Increasing money is great, but I can bet almost every other things in the article will be changed by next year.

As of now, the schedule of National T20 and PAK Cup are too late - NT20 should leave enough time for PSL to scout local players, while PAK Cup should leave enough space for sorting WC preliminary 35. Ideally, NT20 should have started in NOV, PAK Cup DEC and QeA splited between SEP_OCT, and then MAR_May.

The PCB announcing the domestic calendar in advance.

What on earth is going on?!

Very good steps in the right direction. Now to improve the state of pitches, grounds, facilities and the ball in domestic cricket.

You have to understand that cricketer's career is fairly short, no more than 10-15 years.

The bulk of their earning is going to be between 20-35 years old.

Then afterwards they may get some coaching, commentating jobs but only if they are well known players usually if they played for national team.

They may also get hired at honorary positions but I am not sure if that happens too much any more.

These cricketers are also hired by departments so they get regular salary as well. Yes, the life of a cricketer is small, true which is why they should continue their education while playing cricket.

Media Advisory:

The selection of eight regional teams that are participating in the National T20 Tournament scheduled in Multan (Dec10 to Dec 25) will take place at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Thursday, November 8.

Regional stakeholders, national senior and junior selectors besides NCA coaches will take part in the selection process that would be conducted on the lines of a Draft system.
