The talent hunt program aims to engage around 10,000 young boys and girls to promote grassroots cricket and provide equal opportunities. A portal for registrations will open from April 10 to May 10, 2025, followed by a tournament between September and November, with semi-finals and finals broadcast live.

Talented players will be considered for U15 and U17 teams, with the program addressing the decline in school and college cricket and aiming to replace the existing age-group trial system with a structured and transparent process.

Just a curious thought, where do the coaches get their coaching from?

the issue in Pakistan isnt talent hunting; its talent nurtering.
PCB just doing cheap PR stunts
Yes, this is the biggest problem

Talent is there, but improving them and guiding them to help improve is the biggest issue

They need proper coaching

My PTSD gets triggered when I hear "talent hunt program" as it reminds me of all the hours standing in an endless queue to wait for your turn in the midst of over age boys & nepotism induced (plus parchi) selection process.

A personal anecdote, over age boys are asked to have "cheesa shave" which means razor shave by local barbers so not even a shred of stubble is visible before the trial. To get all those 20 plus boys look like barely 16 or lower really is a an art which is bestowed to an elite few that have penchant of acquiring skills that mere mortals run away from.

Will anyone explain what is the outcome of Pcb task force detailed for power hitting , another gimmicky to Starr now
