Askari Welfare trust should step in and buy a franchise (not sarcasm). Rawalpindi Rams were actually one of the most famous franchises in Faysal Bank T20 and were well followed & liked.
There's also a cricket ground being built in ISB which will be ready by 2027 (initial estimates) so there's a stadium that's also vacant for the Rawalpindi crowd & it won't dilute the brand.
The new stadium should go to Islamabad United. Any Rawalpindi team should use Pindi stadium.
OZ Group and VgoTel announcedLet's see who will b the 2nd bidder , and what cities will it be , likely Faisalabad will be one of them

Imagine the meltdown across the border lolWith the current state of affairs, the PSL can do the funniest thing right now and announce a Kashmir team.
Just imagine Muzaffarabad or Mirpur in the PSL!
The meltdown would be epic but the PCB and PSL are a cowardly bunch and I don't think the prospect would cross their mindsImagine the meltdown across the border lol

They are not delusional like Pakistan poster's. Naming a team based on Kashmir means end of overseas player's for PSL. Jo kachra players aa rhe hai wo bhi banned ho jaayengeWith the current state of affairs, the PSL can do the funniest thing right now and announce a Kashmir team.

no. The OP made a weird thread titleSo Jazz and Inverex most likely new owners?
You need to research on JazzTo be honest, i am personally disappointed by the Bids. I was hoping some big shot Arab, Chinese, European, American non Pakistani CEO's would have expressed interest but that is far from the case. The PSL can only grow if it attracts interest from foreign investors.
They will never bid on a ten year license, the only possibility would have been if the franchises were sold in perpetuity. Ultimately if you look at the Multan Sultans situation, that too would have dissuaded potential investors. To be honest, i am personally disappointed by the Bids. YesIs it true DSM belongs to Ali Tareen?
The auction for two new HBL Pakistan Super League teams will be held on Thursday, 8 January, at Islamabad’s Jinnah Convention Centre, marking the league’s expansion from six to eight teams for its 11th season scheduled between 26 March and 3 May 2026. Starting at 4:15pm and live-streamed across multiple platforms, the event will also feature a performance by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and a felicitation ceremony for Pakistan Shaheens, winners of the Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025, and the Hong Kong Super Sixes champions.
Ten technically qualified bidders from sectors including agrobusiness, telecom, real estate and technology will compete for franchises potentially based in cities such as Faisalabad, Gilgit, Hyderabad, Muzaffarabad, Rawalpindi and Sialkot, with the new teams set to join established champions including Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans.
Bidders: Aim Next Inc, Deharki Sugar Mills, FKS, Inverex, i2c, Jazz, OZ Developers, Prism Developers, VGO TEL, Walee Technologies
Walee Technologies is the better option here.Hoping that Jazz & Inverex outbid everyone else. Do not want Ali Tareen to own another franchise and then do his performative activism.
