PCB deny reports of infighting within the Pakistan team

The team needs a complete revamp just like what happened in the 2003 ODI WC. Play with a brand new fresh team and keep the present players out, make them play domestic cricket and let them get their form, confidence back so that they can be mentally fresh from the scarring of this WC. There is going to be a lot of resentment and anger if these players play with each other immediately.

It was easy to do with the 2003 team as that team had Saeed Anwar, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram, Saqlain Mushtaq all past their expiry date.

Slightly more difficult to do this time as the concerned players are all less than 30 years old and have a lot of cricket in them. Nobody will remove Babar, Shadab, Shaheen, Haris.

Strauss And Morgan when they revamped their white-ball teams after 2015 world cup said that you only get a very short window of opportunity to reset your team. If you don't take it, you suffer. After 2015 World Cup, they had that window of opportunity where they could sack Broad, Anderson, Bell.

My suggestion would be for making shaan Masood as test and ODI captain and Shaheen Afridi as T20 captain..
No more than 2-3 batsman should play all the formats .
Play young blood in T20 s with may be babar as experienced batter

Anyone who is out of the team automatically becomes better. When Imad was playing people for crying for Nawaz because he can 'spin' the ball.


The player who is injured or not selected is always the answer because people cannot accept the reality.

We want look at ahead now 4 years exactly so can play 4 years and build the team. In my mind Pakistan need to change player regular bases and do not let Players think they became star or something like India and South Africa did. Who can do this job?

He attacks Pakistan left and right but when he makes a claim that aged poorly, he'll do his best to defend it like the 2019 vs 2023 argument. Which is surprising cause even ex cricketers believe our 2019 team washes the 2023 team especially with 2023 toothless bowling lol, Hafeez would eat this bowling alive, so would 2019 haris sohail. Anyone would really.

So expect him to say, Nawaz is a better spinner then all of em but some other excuse

God, is this the same team which was considered favourite to win Asia and WC?

That Asia cup thrashing from India has burst the bubble and completely broken Pak team. WC is not over and some unpredictable turnaround like past may take Pak to knockouts but for now things are not looking good.

What they have done /achieved to show dissent towards their captain? Half of the playing should be fired after this worldcup.

Babar may not be the best captain but he as a player he is head and shoulders above his teammates.

It doesn't work like this in any team sport. Your ability as a player is never what defines the ability to lead and organise a team or help selection. These players can only achieve as much as the captaincy enables them to. No one needs a medal to see absolute stupidity taking place consistently and become disgruntled with it. If the captaincy hamstrings them like it is obviously doing, they as a team are all suffering and have to voice it eventually. The captaincy in Cricket is far more integral than most sports and it's effectively a similar role to a touchline manager in football. Babar is so unsuited for the role it's ridiculous. He got it purely for being the poster boy that's the one and only justification for it.

80% of the team being managed by a same co. Which is owned by Chief selector then how come there is infighting looks as the ulterior motive was not to win the WC rather have your own gang on the cruise therefore guys like Abrar Ahmed and Amir Jamal ignored, somebody hold a serious inquiry
