According to the proposed schedule, the players will undergo physical training in the morning session, whereas in the afternoon session, they will work on their batting, bowling and fielding skills at the Gaddafi Stadium.

The Men in Green will reach the United Arab Emirates (UAE) four days prior to the tournament. Currently, some of the Pakistan cricketers are spending time with their families and will regroup for the camp.
PCB officials are also mulling over the option of gathering players in Abbottabad two to three days prior to the eight-day training camp.

The national selection committee, headed by Inzamamul Haq, is expected to announce training camp dates for the Asia Cup next week. The Pakistan team management has made it clear that unfit players will not be included in the squad.

Sources closed to the selection committee have confirmed that all-rounder Imad Waseem, who is currently playing in Caribbean Premier League (CPL), is likely to earn a place in the camp.

Will the camp be used as a tool to test the performance, fitness etc of the players following which the squad will be announced?
