Peshawar Zalmi (110/3) cruise to a 7-wicket victory over Multan Sultans (108) in a one-sided PSL X encounter

So what do you do now?

Who should be retained in this Multan Sultan’s side? 8 players…

Let’s see what you guys think?
Perhaps Usman, Yasir, Kamran, Tayyab, Obaid, Akif, Josh Little, Usama

Sultans first team to be bowled out for less than 120 four times in a PSL season.

Zindabad Kaptaana!

If Zalmi loses this match
Reporter: Rizwan kay pas dher sare learns ho gye the, shayad aapko bhi chahiye
Babar: ji definitely!

Zalmi need 23 runs in 54 balls.

Zalmi need to finish this fast , net run rate is important

Shahid Aziz impressed. I hope his batting is decent. Need a good all rounder

Babar Azam at the post-match presentation:

"I think we weren’t expecting the pitch to behave the way it did, but credit should go to our bowlers. When a team takes early wickets, the opposition feels the pressure, and we managed to keep adding more pressure with each bowling change.

The balls bowled on a good length came on to the bat in a two-paced manner. Our plan was simple: hit the pitch hard and bowl according to the field, and that’s why we were able to restrict them to such a low total.

I want to particularly mention Saim Ayub’s knock. We were all eagerly waiting for him to come good, and thankfully, he scored a few runs tonight. As we know, his form is crucial for Peshawar Zalmi. He has the ability to turn the game around when he’s in good form. He’s a game-changer, and tonight showed that he’s coming back into form. I think the break really helped him. He’s a young player, and we want him to fight through the tough patches.

(On Haris convincing him to take the DRS for the caught behind) Yeah, Haris really pushed me to take the review. We were all unsure, but he was confident. He said we had two reviews left and keepers always feel like there is an edge, don’t they?"

Mohammad Rizwan at the post-match interview:

"The ball was coming onto the bat well in the first innings, but it started to behave a bit differently later on. In the second innings, they batted really well, and unfortunately, we failed to execute our plans.

Shahid has bowled exceptionally well, and we also have Ubaid, who’s been doing a great job. The youngsters are performing really well—Ali Raza, for instance, has impressed. Last season, we had top players like Mohammad Ali, but now they're playing for different teams. The names in the squad don't matter much; if you drop too many catches, it will cost you.

The Multan crowd supports good cricket, and I hope we can give them a performance that fills the stadium again."

Rizwan will make every excuse in the book but will never blame himself.

Peshawar was certainly a better team this time. There was no purposely throwing the game type thing here .. Multan was pathetic whole season, what miracle they were expected to do this time. None.

Peshawar won fair and square and they are looking pretty set. Apart from babar's batting, things are looking fine...
Yes Mitchell owen's hype has been exposed as an opener also but 2 games only so let's give him some more time.
