The match between Peshawar Zalmi Eleven and Legends Eleven, organized for flood victims' relief, was a houseful event.

Shoaib Akhtar and Waqar Younis' bowling pumped up the fans.

Babar Azam and Inzamam-ul-Haq's batting delighted the Zalmi fans.

Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, expressed heartfelt thanks to the KP government, cricket superstars, legends, and cricket fans.

PCL COO Salman Naseer, Provincial Minister for Sports Syed Fakhar Jehan, along with other provincial ministers, esteemed city dignitaries, and a large crowd of spectators, attended the match.

Peshawar witnessed its biggest cricket carnival in 19 years. The match, held at Imran Khan Cricket Stadium for flood victims' relief, became historic.

Thousands of cricket fans from Peshawar and remote areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa gathered at the stadium, making it a houseful event. The atmosphere was electrified with cheers and chants of "Pakistan Zindabad" echoing through the stadium.

After the rain, the ground staff worked hard and with dedication to make the field playable. Legends Eleven captain, Inzamam-ul-Haq, won the toss and invited Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi Eleven to bat first. Zalmi scored 145 runs. Babar Azam made 41 runs, and Yasir Hameed scored 35 runs. Shahid Afridi and Abdul Rahman took three wickets each.

In response, Legends Eleven managed to score 137 runs for the loss of six wickets. Inzamam-ul-Haq revived old memories, scoring 47 runs, while Azhar Mahmood contributed 34 runs. Zalmi won the match by 8 runs.

You can say whatever you want but scenes are telling what is the reality...LOL

Even if this is true, this perfectly epitomises the lack of intelligence of Pakistan cricket as a whole.

I kindly request for you to let this unhealthy obsession with Babar go. He's by far the most overrated cricketer of all time.
 
Some embarrassing chest thumping from Babar fans during a charity game. It's as if Babar's runs and wickets were more important to the cause. But I knew this was going to happen. A couple of members of the Babar cult were throwing hissy fits about me bringing his playing style in the preview thread. They've now been left with egg on their faces.
 
If the stadium easily and successfully hosted a full stadium crowd, why can't the PCB host a few psl games in this stadium then?
