Fans are criticising Multan. Plz don't forget Multan had been the most consistent side in psl with highest win %

Peshawar Zalmi (Playing XI) - Babar Azam(C), Mitchell Owen, Saim Ayub, Mohammad Haris(WK), Hussain Talat, Max Bryant, Maaz Sadaqat, Luke Wood, Alzarri Joseph, Ahmed Daniyal, Mohammad Ali.

Islamabad United (Playing XI) - Kyle Mayers, Sahibzada Farhan, Colin Munro, Salman Agha, Shadab Khan(C), Azam Khan(WK), Imad Wasim, Saad Masood, Ben Dwarshuis, Naseem Shah, Riley Meredith.

Why would Waqar Younis ask Saim Ayub about his poor form right before the start of a match???

I'm glad Daniyal has been selected today

The guy is a much improved bowler and I think he could be excellent for Pak as well especially in the middle overs

He has batting potential & ideally he should be given more chances at a higher batting position. He had a very strong bowling action but an extremely short runup so he has worked on his runup & become a proper hard ball pacer. It shows that the guy is willing to put the work in & about time that he is given some chances to prove his worth.

100%

The guy has put in the work

Islamabad haven’t qualified

3 teams can end up on 10 points

They better get their act together!

This has got to be one of the most boring editions of psl ever.

Half of the credit goes to rizwan.

By far the most boring cricket event (so far) I have ever witnessed. There has been no close matches whatsoever. Batters are batting as if they have put away their minds in a freezer somewhere & just bat like zombies. I want to watch but I just cannot get myself to watch it. Saad Masood was someone I was looking forward to so when he came into bat I gave my full attention & then two balls later he's out playing another useless needless swipe.

PSL wasn't great quality but it offered high octane close matches. I've seen teams get out for 59 but then taking six or seven wickets in return making the match exciting. This edition should have been marketed like "Cricket league for insomniacs".

This is what I mean, not quality but entertainment.

For context, 2017 league had 24 matches & going through the scorecards of each of them, at least 15 look like close or super close. There are wins on the last ball, wins of 1 run, wins in the last over, etc.

The final was boring because it was hastily played in Lahore by players who weren't test class but other than that it's hard to find an issue. I selected 2017 so people won't say I am showing a political bias here. Something has just not worked this edition whatsoever.

Just a sample screenshot being attached of what I'm considering close

All of these matches are close & exciting with stuff happening & that's 5 matches in a row.

What exactly was Saim doing during his rehab/recovery period? Don't these guys still practice their primary skills?

Interest was already all time low because of pct performance and then this PSL has further repelled fans.
