Karachi Kings are in dire trouble - bottom of the table and now without M Amir as well!

How on earth can they make a comeback in this season?

Babar better hope for a score below 160 so that he can play his natural game. Otherwise he will have to help Sharjeel and do some hard work if PZ score 200

So they dropped Joe Clark and kept Lewis Gregory? What’s wrong with these people! The owners really need to recruit people who are actually good at assembling decent people to run a franchise like Karachi. Or they can sell the team to the people who can.

Karachi Kings has selected a relatively poor team for this tournament.

Ian Cockbain has excellent T20 stats and had a good BBL. I'm very interested to see how he gets on today.

Umaid got rid of both openers to stem the Zalmi's quick start.

Haider Hack Ali. Has not played any innings of substance for a while. He is very over hyped

Rashid Latif was associated with KK and in a recent Caught Behind Podcast, he took a dig at his former franchise owners i.e if you will only be active for a month before PSL and during the PSL and then go missing for the remaining 10-11 months of the year i.e. not doing any talent hunts, camps or player development then it is better to just sell the franchise to someone else who is more hungry to develop the Franchise commercially or from a Cricket Point of View.

This is why i am against the PCB awarding these Franchises to anyone in perpetuity.

Good tight overs by Nabi.

KK need to finish last 4 well, restrict them to under 170.

Boundary-less Haider and Cutting combined no boundaries for 36 balls gonna cost PZ.

Malik 50 off 25 balls.

Very impressive innings from Malik.

Bizzare decision to send Cutting before Rutherford

Clarke is injured.

KK going to make this look difficult now - without sharjeel this is like a 200+ score for them

Sharjeel failing again yet people still want to mention his name , pakistan need to move on and rightly so , few other good options shining through this season

Going to be a tough chase for KK without Sharjeel firing

Babar has to do a lot of work here

Umar has been decent

Good action and nice line/length

Babar rightly being criticised by the commentators for not being aggressive enough

Required rate falls below 10 , they need to keep it below 10 here with calculated risks

Great captaincy by Wahab to bowl Malik to Sharjeel first over. Death blow to the chase IMO

Good powerplay by PZ

Babar made a bit of recovery by the end

Babar seem to be returning to good form. Hopefully, he will get to play a longish inning to gain back his confidence

Karachi (60/2) only 2 runs behind where PZ were at this stage (62/1)

Babar allowed to relax a bit

Cockbain doing the aggressive work!

A brilliant Shoaib Malik catch brought an end to a crucial 74-run partnership.

Babar remains on 52* (42) as the wickets continue to tumble at the other end, 4 down now.

The commentators need to stop with this nonsense that Babar needs to play the anchor role or play out the overs.

He needs to take responsibility and play at the required run rate.

This is why Sharjeel is so vital to KK

He is the aggressor and Babar needs him to just get on with things how he likes

Irshad concedes just 2 in the 15th over. Big blow to KK.

63 runs needed from 30.

Disappointing to see Babar playing poorly. Needs to accelerate now or else Karachi is losing this one also.

Babar was never an aggressive batsman, but since the WC, he has been completely clueless.

Poor from babar so far, a big over may still swing it for him however for the pakistan cause it may be worth trying fakhar back at the top again, and move babar down to 3

The captain of Pakistan has a game to win here for his side

Salman Irshad death over bowling is good.
He is bowling slow bouncers and away from batsmen.

46 runs needed from 18 balls.

Have a feeling this will be a very painful 18 balls to watch, don't see KK getting near the target.

Babar is so consistent in scoring fifty in T20s at SR of ~120.

Disappointing from Sharjeel Khan really, he has let his side down massively here

slower delivery takes Aamer Yamin,

Mohammad Umar for his first game is bowling very well

Babar survived in UAE due to avg innings score being a low score. He is exposed on flat phattas
