Why does Faheem get to play ahead of Ammad Butt despite no performance ?
Looking forward to another good knock down Shadab and then bowling from the spin duo of Shadab and Zafar?
 
Shadab has been better than so called talented batsmen

Only Haider has shown promise
 
I always liked Shadab as a reliable all rounder but he is now making me his fan purely as a batsman too.

Welcome to reality! He's a wicket-taker, was under a bad patch. 100x better bowler than Imad the darter.

both amad and faheem hv no performance in this year psl. Talat may ball better than both of them.

Shadab has got two fifties in SA and UK

Yes but Amad has played a lot less than Faheem worldwide and so deserves more chances. Talat too .
 
Shadab has a different look on his face now. He is a lot more serious and fully immersed into the game. For the last year or 2 before this, he seemed to have not been taking it seriously. The added resposnibility of captaincy and him batting up the order seems to have done the trick.

Yasir has lost it in all formats. His career is done even in Tests. I really hope he doesn't go to England for the tests, I would rather have Shadab there as he adds a lot more value with the bat and in the field.
 
This has been some innings from Shadab. And the attack is a good one too. What's impressive is the placement and timing. When it's not a boundary ball, he is actually placing the ball for twos. Great stuff.

Should definitely be batting up the order in LOIs.
 
Shadab was a young kid so bound to be not intensely serious. I cannot believe some so called Pakistani fans hated him not for his performances but for his looks. As a fielder ihe s the best we had. His bowling was always good even if not earth shattering, in the weold cup he was better than most if not all spinners. His batting was always reliable but now has few gears added to it.
We are lucky to have such a talented player.
 
I have a bad feeling Hasan Ali will be back for Pakistan, he will then be smashed around in International cricket again.
 
Shadab has batted out of his skin in this tournament... no surprise given his role model was Steve Smith

if he can go his role model way, wont be too bad for pak.. but ideally want him to focus on his bowling

He always made the team on bowling alone. Unlike Imad Wasim, he's a spinner of the ball and takes wickets, so batting was a bonus.

And goodness me, he's batting like specialist bats right now. Placement today is good. Hitting excellent.

If he can take it to international level too, will indeed become one of the most talented and utility players in the whole world.
 
Zalmi has more support than Islamabad in Pindi. Not surprised because there are a lot of Pathans in Pindi and isloo people are boring anyways

he shld not be making the team on his bowling in last 18 months

Imad has been much ahead of him in terms of CONTROL in limited over cricket and also his power hitting down the order ... Imad has been head n shoulders above shadab in batting ... and bowling side isnt too different .. infect imad has a lower economy ...

but if shadab can replicate this performance in international, then its a good headache bcz then Pak will need to find some1 at no 6&7 ....
 
As I keep repeating Shadab Khan focus and wanting to take responsibility on since being made captain has been very good to see.

There are more punjabis in Zalmi than any other team. Kamran Akmal, Wahab Riaz, Rahat Ali, Hasan Ali, Imam ul Haq, Haider Ali, Shoaib Malik are all punjabis. Only Yasir Shah is from KPK. So no reason for Pathans to cheer for Zalmi.

LOL they are cheering their region like any other team supporters.It is franchise cricket you will never get players from your region with draft system.And islamabad is not punjab by the way.

This innings from Shadab doesn't mean anything. He has failed against the only good bowler in the line up
 
not a big fan of shadab these days but he is getting much much much better in batting now...

a proper international no4 for pak ? not now but maybe in future...?

Maybe bat at no5 in ODI and test after Harris sohail.... ?

If it wasn’t bad enough rejects like Patel Roussow dominating the league you have a tail ender like shadab as leading run scorer, he wouldn’t last more than 5 balls against the likes of archer bumra starc, tells you about the standard of the league.

Hope this league isn’t the benchmark for future selections.

Imad Wasim is a darter, doesn't spin, any half decent batsman can and has taken him easily apart.

More worrying, he'll get clobbered on AUS grounds. Was a failure last time in AUS as well. 6 sixes in a single over cannot be ruled out against him.

In batting, Shadab has better hand-eye coordination and is playing the ball on merit. Seen some strokes on the off side too, which Imad can't play.

Both aren't high quality hitters at the international level, but Shadab just a little bit better. Let's see how much of this he can replicate at international level.
 
Never saw Malik drop more than one catches in year let alone in one match, you cannot fight nature and age. Malik bhai writing is On the wall. but our selectors are still blind.
