I am from Peshawar so I would love to see this happen, but we have to be practical. The main foreign players will not show up and the quality will be severely diluted. The final of PSL II was a disaster from a cricketing point of view, and we cannot afford to see that happen again.

-mobile command centers
-mobile emergency ambulance services
-secluded command bunkers

Are some of the facilities. Only Karachi would be able to maybe rival this, no way Peshawar has the facilities to pull this level of security off. I might be ignorant of Peshawar as have never been there so I am not sure if I am correct, but its just my view.

Everytime I take a flight to Karachi it is through Doha and I generally have a layover of 6-8 hours. That means I have alot of time to see the entire airport and be aware of its every nook and corner, while at Karachi airport I claim my baggage and go home. As per your logic Doha is my hometown because I spent some time there.
