George Linde is a dynamic South African all-rounder known for his left-arm spin and batting skills. He debuted in 2019 and has been a valuable asset to the team.

Linde was called up to South Africa's T20 squad for the tour of India in September 2019, replacing Jon-Jon Smuts, who was withdrawn for not meeting fitness standards. He was later added to the Test squad as a stand-in for Keshav Maharaj, who was injured and ruled out of the last match of the series.

After almost missing the game, this guy ended up as player of match. He needs to miss the bus again. LOL

George Linde spekaing druing a post-match presentation ceremoney after South Africa vs Pakistan 1st T20:

"Almost a perfect comeback game apart from the hat-trick ball. I have played quite a lot of cricket, have had a pretty good season so far, tried to keep calm and ask myself what the team needs. When he gave it out I was surprised but told the boys it was going down leg (hat-trick ball). I felt calm today for some reason. I missed the bus while coming to the ground, I thought I had to deliver and glad I did. The police escorted me to the ground."

Rizwan couldn't play him at all.

Neither could anyone else tbf but Riz looked clueless.

Was always a better white ball spinner than Maharaj and his batting is underestimated.
Should have been a white ball regular for SA from 2021 onwards.
