However the reaction towards a team containing all of these players is quite muted.

Happy to see Hasnain go there though. Shahid Aziz in emerging is an intriguing pick. Showed some decent bowling chops this domestic season and has some power with the bat.

Interesting nugget with Shahid Aziz. Seems like that's maybe why they didn't retain Abbas Afridi as they found a similar player at a lower category for his replacement. Not sure I agree with it as Abbas Afridi has been quite good at T20's and great at finding ways to take wicket.

Really intrigued to see Shahid Aziz though and I hope he gets a proper look. He's caught some eyes this domestic season. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be those allrounders who is only good enough to bat at 7/8 instead of a proper one who can bat legitimately in the top 6.

This is where multan gets advantage. The psl categories are a bit of a joke and multan is able to exploit that.

You have zalmi doing the same with the upper order batting.

I think its about time the drafts should be open market drafts and pteams shouldnt be forced to release players.

Iftikhar in domestic cricket is a high value player, yet they judged his category on the basis of international cricket performance and allow him to be a category down.

Islamabad pulled a similar stunt like this in the first few seasons. I think it was in season 3 where they tonked up with all the psl talent and than by season 4 pcb decided to make it abit stricter.

So compared to past seasons, this bowling attack may look abit weak.

However, every season, the bowlers of Multan surprise you. Dhani, ihsanullah, mohammaf ali, than their was that molvi bowler aswell in the past that use to point to the skies with his cringe celebration, abbas. They even revived usama mirs career.

So Multan does surprises you with their local bowlers as they have good scouts in place. They plucked hasnain and if akif is able to perform well and is assisted by one of the emergings and faisal akram, who knows what they can do.

Their no name bowling often out performs every season.

This time in place of muzrabani they bought Little

Ali Tareen made it very clear how the team is built around Willey and Jordan, so that’s 2/4
