Well the way things usually go,I'm so sad that Akif ended in this joke of a team.
Man said he wants an explosive top order left handed batsman he has his eyes set on…Obviously got turned down by Warner and Imad because they've got inferior versions of both players.
Can Johson Charles be picked in the xi even thou hes in the supplementary picks ?Man said he wants an explosive top order left handed batsman he has his eyes set on…
*He picks Bracewell
Man said he needs more left handed batsmen because he has too many right handers….
*He picked no left handed batsman
I support ISB united, could care lesss what Multan picks
It’s Rizwan’s team. They can do whatever they want and wherever they want. Can Johson Charles be picked in the xi even thou hes in the supplementary picks ?
Their 3 overseas batsmen arePathetic squad Multan have picked.
Club level batters.Their 3 overseas batsmen are
Bracewell
Charles
Shai Hope
I support ISB united, could care lesss what Multan picks
LOL tu jaan kr kartaaa hai!The side is heavily relying on our favourite player @Mohraheem
Why Ifthikhar ? What did he do in Pakistan cup to have u on the list ?If the supplementary means you can’t play the player unless a squad member picked during the draft first 4 categories+retained are either injured or have to leave for personal reasons meaning they will not be returning to the league….
Then Multan’s team lines up like this:
1. Rizwan
2. Yasir Khan
3. Kamran Ghulam
4. Usman Khan
5. Tayyab Tahir
6. Iftikhar Ahmed
7. Michael Bracewell
8. Chris Jordan
9. David Willey
10. Usama Mir
11. Akif Javed
I haven’t even included the emerging option here.
This is a pathetic side, something you would expect Pakistan cricket team to field!
Whatever the rules are surrounding the supplementary, MS messed this up to by picking underwhelming options in Charles and Hope. Who will they replace in the batting? And then who will MS make sit out from their bowlers?
Why Ifthikhar ? What did he do to impress you?Rizwan
Usman Khan
Yasir Khan
Johnson Charles
Kamran Ghullam
Tayyab Tahir
Iftikhar
Bracewell
Jordan
Usama Mir
Hasnain
Akif Javed
Decent bowling line up but poor batting line up should be not making the semi final.
If they win with this squad, something is seriously wrong with the game.Poor squad thanks to lunacy of Tareen Jr., still with Riz as Skip. MS will start as favourites
To start with Allah's name, fingers crossed for a good show , MS has strong brand equityIf they win with this squad, something is seriously wrong with the game.
Multan Sultans have the most horrible squad after Karachi Kings. If the supplementary means you can’t play the player unless a squad member picked during the draft first 4 categories+retained are either injured or have to leave for personal reasons meaning they will not be returning to the league….

Bro I put Rizwan there too. I can’t avoid the fact Iftikhar and Rizwan will be Multan’s starting XIWhy Ifthikhar ? What did he do in Pakistan cup to have u on the list ?
The options are limited and hes a okay player and he can bowl.Who would you have chosen instead off him.Why Ifthikhar ? What did he do to impress you?
No chanceMultan Sultans have the most horrible squad after Karachi Kings.
I m sure they will be eliminated along with Karachi Kings in the first round this time.
Give youngster a chance .. he was horrible in Pakistan cup … he shouldn’t be even in psl .. Multan stock will go down once he starts battingThe options are limited and hes a okay player and he can bowl.Who would you have chosen instead off him.
Throw in a random nameBro I put Rizwan there too. I can’t avoid the fact Iftikhar and Rizwan will be Multan’s starting XI
The stock is already down and out for this psl.Give youngster a chance .. he was horrible in Pakistan cup … he shouldn’t be even in psl .. Multan stock will go down once he starts batting
Last year you threw a hissyfit for isb because of imad though? I remember your comments?I support ISB united, could care lesss what Multan picks
LOLRizwan
Mir
Chacha
Usman Khan
Hasnain
Tayyib
Kamran
These players have all been in or around our international team recently. They are the amongst best that Pakistan has to offer and technically they should be premium players in Pakistan domestic due to their proximity to international cricket.
However the reaction towards a team containing all of these players is quite muted.
What does that show?
Darryl Mitchell is the left hander???
Areyyyy kehnaaa Kya chaaatai hi
This is where multan gets advantage. The psl categories are a bit of a joke and multan is able to exploit that.Rizwan
Mir
Chacha
Usman Khan
Hasnain

Bowling is not that weak TBH. Abbas ihsanullah were good last time but Motie, willey, Chris Jorden, Faisal, Akif. The Multan squad has always had a good bowling line up ever since the tareens owned the team.
So compared to past seasons, this bowling attack may look abit weak.
However, every season, the bowlers of Multan surprise you. Dhani, ihsanullah, mohammaf ali, than their was that molvi bowler aswell in the past that use to point to the skies with his cringe celebration, abbas. They even revived usama mirs career.
So Multan does surprises you with their local bowlers as they have good scouts in place. They plucked hasnain and if akif is able to perform well and is assisted by one of the emergings and faisal akram, who knows what they can do.
Their no name bowling often out performs every season.
This time in place of muzrabani they bought Little
saw her in Multan Sultans elite camp in October. She is with Multan I think. Is Alex Hartley still one of the coaches?
You are connected with Multan Sultans?saw her in Multan Sultans elite camp in October. She is with Multan I think.
Shai hope and Johnson Charles in supplementary were very tired picksSeriously average squad. Mainly because of their foreign picks. They should have picked someone like Reeza Hendricks again. He would have been available for the full-season too.
It becomes a problem when you can only pick 4 overseasBowling is not that weak TBH. Abbas ihsanullah were good last time but Motie, willey, Chris Jorden, Faisal, Akif.
this is a good bowling lineup.
LOL... Why would I want to connect with them when I know that you hate rizwan..LOLYou are connected with Multan Sultans?
What’s wrong with being connected with them? It’s your job why would I hate it?LOL... Why would I want to connect with them when I know that you hate rizwan..LOL
nay bro... I want to have a clean brotherhood with you BRO..What’s wrong with being connected with them? It’s your job why would I hate it?
nay bro... I want to have a clean brotherhood with you BRO..
doesn't matter.... back to topic...Whose grassroots cricket here? Is Behram Qazi a poster here too?
Could have been much better. Their retentions were poor and their draft picks were below average.doesn't matter.... back to topic...
How high do you rate this multan squad???
I think they are lacking batting firepower.Could have been much better. Their retentions were poor and their draft picks were below average.
Their best batsman is Usman Khan. If he has a poor season, they are in big troubleI think they are lacking batting firepower.
This Franchise needs to be scrapped.
The owner openly mocking players selected for Pakistan, but their captain is no better in causing Pakistan humiliation.
+Picking Micheal Bracewell as your first platinum pick even though Glenn Chapman, Finn Allen and other Proper T20 international pros still available.
@topspin @mominsaigol @shaz619 @RyanRyan10
Oh God @Kianig89 what did you do now
That Usman khan the big teeth hack is the worst batsman i have ever seen.Sultans batters hold top three fastest PSL century records
The fast and furious style of batting in Twenty20 cricket not only enchants fans but also enables batters to achieve astonishing feats. Who can forget the swashbuckling 36-ball century by Usman Khan for Multan Sultans against Quetta Gladiators in the HBL Pakistan Super League 2023.
Just like many other traditions of Multan, aggressive batting has become a trademark of the Multan Sultans franchise.
Incidentally, the top three fastest centuries in PSL history have been scored by batters from this popular franchise. Rilee Rossouw hammered a 43-ball hundred against Quetta at the Sultans’ home ground in Multan in 2020. He then bettered that feat by two deliveries against Peshawar Zalmi in Rawalpindi during the 2023 edition. But Usman Khan needed only 24 hours to eclipse that record, scoring a breathtaking 36-ball century – also against Quetta at the same venue.
To meet the demands of high-impact, modern T20 cricket, Multan Sultans have employed specialised power-hitting coaches. England’s renowned Julian Wood previously trained their batters, while Yahya Khan currently oversees the development of modern power-hitting techniques.
Data reveals that Multan Sultans batters are particularly ruthless against anything back of a length, amassing 1,466 runs off spinners delivering that length. Pacers have also been punished, conceding 1,447 runs off back-of-length balls and 1,941 off short deliveries.
In addition to Rossouw and Usman Khan (discovered by Multan Sultans), other notable players to have represented the franchise with distinction include Australian dasher Tim David, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Kumar Sangakkara, Sohaib Maqsood, Shan Masood, Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed.
TOP 5 MULTAN SULTANS BATTERS
Mohammad Rizwan – 4 seasons, 2,003 runs in 48 matches
Since joining Multan Sultans, Rizwan has not only received consistent opportunities but has also proved his mettle as a premier T20 batter. He was appointed captain in 2021 – the year Sultans clinched the PSL title.
Rizwan has a unique ability to accelerate during the slog overs.
In his debut season for the franchise, he scored 500 runs at an average of 45.45 and a strike rate of 132.53, playing a pivotal role in the title run. He followed that up with 546 runs in 12 matches at a strike rate of 126.68. His best came in the eighth edition, where he amassed 550 runs – the most in the tournament – at an average of 55 and a strike rate of 142.85, including a century and four fifties. In the most recent edition, he added 407 runs in 12 matches.
The numbers and charts show that Rizwan is not only the backbone of Multan Sultans’ batting but also one of the PSL’s star attractions.
Shan Masood – 5 seasons, 1,318 runs in 43 matches
Initially considered a red-ball specialist, Shan Masood’s T20 credentials were established through his time with Multan Sultans. He also captained the side following the departures of Shoaib Malik and Kumar Sangakkara.
His strike-rate of 133.94 is slightly higher than Rizwan’s, surprising many cricket analysts. His standout season came when he scored 478 runs in 12 innings at a strike rate of 138.15.
Rilee Rossouw – 4 seasons, 1,117 runs in 43 matches
Rossouw is arguably the best overseas player in PSL history, holding two of the top three fastest centuries in the league. Known for his aggressive intent, he attacks bowlers with ease and precision, especially in the middle and death overs.
His best season was in 2023, where he accumulated 453 runs in 11 matches at an average of 45.30 and an astonishing strike rate of 171.59, including a 43-ball century.
Sohaib Maqsood – 5 seasons, 771 runs in 29 matches
Once likened to the great Inzamam-ul-Haq, Sohaib Maqsood was brought into the Multan setup as a homegrown talent. While he failed to meet the expectations at various levels, he delivered his best in the 2021 season, scoring 428 runs at an average of 47.55. He played a match-winning knock of 65 off 35 balls in the final against Peshawar Zalmi in Abu Dhabi, earning both the Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament awards.
Usman Khan – 2 seasons, 597 runs in 11 matches
Usman Khan has been a revelation in the last two editions of the PSL. His performances were so impactful that he earned a national call-up without significant exposure to first-class or List A cricket.
His rise is a testament to the confidence shown by the Multan Sultans management. Usman has three centuries in just two PSL editions – one of them a blistering 36-ball effort against Quetta in 2023. That year, he scored 167 runs in just four matches at a staggering strike rate of 198.80.
In the most recent season, he piled up 430 runs in just seven games – second-highest overall – at an average of 107.50 and a strike rate of 164.12, including two centuries.
Usman Khan has truly lit up the Multan Sultans’ batting lineup in the last two seasons.

Why are you so rattled? Because Samaa TV sponsor is at stake? The hate for Multan Sultans is suffocating, FGS if somebody don't like it or hate MS, why not just refrain from spreading venom ,there are 5 other PSL teams go support them.
Imagine criticizing a team which reached psl final for 4 consecutive seasons over a team that hasn't even qualified for the playoffs in those 4 seasons. The hate for Multan Sultans is suffocating, FGS if somebody don't like it or hate MS, why not just refrain from spreading venom ,there are 5 other PSL teams go support them.
But then the captain of the side couldn’t qualify for the next round of the champions trophy at home….knocked out in 1 week.Imagine criticizing a team which reached psl final for 4 consecutive seasons over a team that hasn't even qualified for the playoffs in those 4 seasons.
