So apparently Mickey Arthur gets the same amount as the ever important and crucial to the CT campaign Social Media manager? How would we ever would've won without live feeds from Twitter and streaming from Facebook

What's happening here?
 
Well its additional free cash so I wouldn't complain if I was Mickey or anyone else. 10m rupees is around £7.5k which is a nice some of money but equally not going to be huge for any of these players anyway.

It's around 75000 pounds not 7500. 10,000,000. 10 million ruppees

Yeah but it's kinda unfair that some social media guy gets like $77k for updating the facebook status to "Finally arrived in England for the tournament!!"

Wouldn't be surprised if he is related to some higher ups. Maybe Shan Masood's third cousin.
 
I agree with this. How would you quantify what each member of the support staff has done. Just give them all the same amount and keep things simple. Maybe the head coach could've gotten a bit more but that's it.

Everyone else is deserving in some capacity.

Don't mean to single this guy out but honestly this social media dude could've been gifted a toaster from LG or a lifetime supply of samosa from United Bakery.
 
Nothing wrong with this. Arthur is part of the support staff who are all getting paid the same

I'd take a lifetime supply of United bakeries chicken sandwiches or patties over this tbh. They are surprisingly amazing and get better with every bite. Try them.
 
Way too many staffs. We don't need media and social manager, Masseur and in charge tour officer. Waste of money and its a vacation tour for them
 
Well, then you could also argue that the players who performed well should have got more than those who were only warming the bench. :usman
 
Too many hangers on; all of them are a complete waste of money. Instead of paying for this rubbish use the money for better salaries for domestic players, better pitches and balls.
 
Let him have his day. Compare Micky's salary with Aun's and you have your answer.

Are you actually being serious? This is barebones, the bare minimum.

Its international sport, not sunday league gully danda.

Yeah, lets not get into details because its our tax money. I don't intend to belittle what the team has done, neither was that aimed at you personally but I personally don't agree with such extravagant rewards being handed out by the government. Players should be given some reward (not so extravagant) but certainly not the army of hangers on. Again just my own opinion.

We are not rich country to compete with England, Australia or NZ.Why can't media manager can do the job. Why we need security analyst, social manager, Masseur and in charge tour operation?

Also when we have corrupt official like Sethi, Shariar, Shakil.... there is nothing to surprise.

PCB board room staff is a different matter.

Team support staff are crucial and there is always enough money for them. Don't belittle them.
 
This has changed now.

They have included Wahab Riaz and have changed 5 million to 2.5 millions for some stuff members.
 
Arthur will not complain, he will be amused actually. Does any other government hand out money prize after winning some trophy?
 
Arthur getting the same amount of money as an idiot pushing little kids around because they wanted autographs is a travesty.

That's sounds like socialism. The head coach should get the most money out of the support staff cause he's the chief strategist.

The officials who normally accompany the team are relatives of Sethi or of other PCB hierarchy.

Also some other hangers-on were with the team, enjoying a free holiday.

What a waste of money.
 
So Haris Sohail and Ahmed Shehzad get the same as Amir, Hasan, Sarfaraz and co.

Is it true that the PCB paid for Shahryar's heart operation in England last summer?

Shouldn't that have been a personal expense and something that should have been out of pocket for the PCB Chairman? Or are their rules in place which mention that PCB employees and the chairman can have certain medical benefits?

I'm not sure but I think it's wrong if that was the case.

Surely the PCB shoud not have to pay for this sort of thing.

However anything is possible with this lot.

Back in the days I remember it used to be standing policy that prize money used to be pooled and equally shared , even man of the match , wonder if that is same these days

Depends on whether employment contract includes medical expenses.
 
I'm more interested in Mickey's contract situation. He should be given an extension through to the next WC in 2019 with a pay rise.
