im sure he began as he started.

With a chocolate cake

Sheheryar was a good steady hand for a bit especially after the disasters of Ijaz Butt, Zaka Ashraf etc

But its clear that in the past 2 years age had caught up with him

im sure PCB spent a good PKR 5-10mn on this exercise

One of the better folks we've had as Chairman, his tenures have coincided with some degree of stability. Oversaw the appointments of Bob Woolmer and Mickey Arthur and hasn't hired and fired captains every other series like other Chairmen. Setting up PSL and successfully hosting the final in Pakistan were major accomplishments.

In his first tenure we reached #2 in the world and reached #1 in Tests in his second tenure whilst winning the CT.

However he went overboard with his India MOU obsession and could've done more to reform domestic cricket. Substandard pitches and balls remains an issue. The culture of sifarish and nepotism is still problematic in domestic selections.

Some of his public statements were also unnecessary and not befitting a former diplomat. Still overall, he deserves a good sendoff.

I swear Zaka Ashraf didn't do anything? He was the one who initially tried to get cricket back into Pakistan, never heard a single bad thing about him.

I agree, Zaka was good. His tenure was stable as well and he was a very competent chairman.

The question should be if he ended the press conference with "Sherry Out" and dropped the mic. :djb:shafiq2

"Honour the MOU!"

He ran to the media for no reason

Glad he is gone
Hopefully he has something to do because we saw how bored he got as the chairman that he actually had to make rubbish just so he could invite the media in for a conference
