And umar akmal had to find a chair to sit. The bell boys didnt take the poor guy's extra baggage around the waist with them. :yk

Wow. The life of sportstars. You lose game after games and yet get to have lavish dinners with VIPs.

Umaṛ Akmal looks a bit lost though.

Hmmm.....Akmal looks like come what may I need to be seen seated!

Most of our players are either fat and overweight or skinny and brittle smh.

They really are, hardly any of them have proportional muscle mass and weight. I don't understand as professional athletes, what are they doing in the gym every day?

How can you get your body composition so wrong even has a professional cricketer. I tell you what it is, it is sheer laziness. I sit on a chair all day in an office but I still have a great physique. Whats their excuse?

That is so true about the current Pakistani cricketers. They need to take inspiration from Misbah, Imran Khan, Wasim Akram etc.

This was our players in Asia Cup win in 2012. Everyone looking in good shape.

What has happened to our players since then. Must be the lack of international cricket at home having a severe impact. We need to bring cricket back ASAP.

Wow look at Sarfaraz and Umar. They have definitely regressed!

Asad and Misbah have gotten miles better.

Yea wth. I don't think they have their own chefs in UAE. So they have to eat fast-food from time to time.

Umar Akmal cost Pakistan 4th ODI with his batting. He should be dropped for 5th ODI.

The lack of fitness has nothing to do with International cricket!

Plenty of human beings with 9-5 jobs and have nothing to do with International cricket are able to take care of their physique and fitness, so why cant full time 'athletes'?! Usain Bolt does few sprints a year, he doesn't come out looking like Mohd Irfan after a 6 month break!

I mean by that standard Misbah and Younis who don't play limited overs cricket must be really unfit, that's definitely not the case. The two seniors are in far better shape than some of the 'talented' younger lot!

Or Australian or English players who do not have 'chefs' during the off season must really pile on the pounds, but they do not either. I remember Andy Flower once kicked Samit Patel out of the squad because he kept putting on weight. The coach would not have it.

If you really want success it is not difficult to watch what one eats, avoid the ghee, sugars, excess carbs and have a basic cardio routine. All they need to do is ask Misbah or Younis how they do it?

Big waists, double chins, love handles, hanging guts OR the other extreme slim shoulders, pencil like forearms........I mean there are people in this forum who can help them get a lot better. Help and advice is easily available, the question is do they want it?

Amir, Shafiq, Rizwan, Malik, Hafeez, Imad, Rahat, Wahab etc. all are fit. Only Umaṛ and Sharjeel are a bit on the "healthy" side.

Sharjeel needs to shed some weight , around 15 kgs. These guys are athletes and their livelihood depends upon hhow fit they are. Losing weight isn't difficult either , proper diet and some exercise will help sharjeel 15 kg in 3 4 months easily without starving himself to death. One must have determination though to get fit.

Losing weight isnt enough. They shoild lose FAT and replace it with muscles. Thats the key.

Yah I have done it in the past , body composition change is the goal in the end but you start first with losing weight. A good combination of cardio and strength training along with some days of caloric deficit in the week.

Australia have not played an ODI at Adelaide Oval since the 2015 World Cup match that featured a memorably feisty Wahab Riaz spell against Shane Watson

Adelaide Oval is comfortably Australia's worst home ODI venue in recent times: in the past six years, they have played seven ODIs there and won only three
