of which materiel are these trophies made of?
Those are beautiful trophies, excellent work!
Side note: I thought Afridi was the Zalmi captain, but it seems here that Sammy is representing them.

Sammy is the Zalmi captain.
Three of the five Captains are non-locals and the other two are really old test only players, Pakistan is really in Shambles when it come to talent pool at every position and every level![]()

Call me biased, but I honestly think the PSL trophy is better than the IPL trophy.

We all know why there wasn't a "best All-Rounder of the Tournament" award named after Imran Khan.![]()
Every team has one or two youngsters who could have been captain. QG already has the best captain in Pakistan as their captain, KK has Babar/Imad/Amir, PZ has Haris/Junaid, IU has Sharjeel maybe, LQ has Maqsood perhaps.
The problem is the owners don't want to give it to unknown names and take a risk that is why you see established cricketers and foreign players with captaincy experience getting the job. It also doesn't help that some teams have 42 year old captain who haven't played an international T20 in 5 years.
Pretty lame. Looks like some film award.
The other trophies are pretty cool.
Amir will never be captain and for obvious reasons. Not to mention he has absolutely no captaincy experience.Every team has one or two youngsters who could have been captain. Junaid isn't a guaranteed starter in the Zalmi XI.
Again, what captaincy experience has Haris had?
What captaincy experience has Sharjeel had?
You can't just name any star player as captain.

Yep, lets make a guy captain for the first time on a large stage, case in point- PSLAmir might not be international captaincy material, but this is just a Mickey-Mouse league. Nobody will care about his history if he captains the Karachi Kings. If not him, then Imad should be their captain.
Junaid isn't a guaranteed starter, but neither are the players in most of the teams. Players are rotated in and out of the XI anyways. Even the best players. Besides, JK has captaincy experience and is a player for the national team. He is also from Peshawar area, so that would be good for PZ franchise.
How is a player going to get experience if you don't give them a chance? You would rather give them captaincy here than in an international match.
Having a local captain would be much better for Pakistan cricket than having a foreign captain.

He captained Baluchistan prior to being made captain of Pakistan.Pakistan already did it by making Azhar captain of the ODI side with zero prior captaincy experience.
Alternatively, they could be given the captaincy at domestic level.No. The stage is too large. There is too much pressure. Wait 5 years until Malik retires and then give the "youngsters" captaincy.

I think you know what I meant if your incapable of understanding then I'll replace the word domestic with first class. As far as I know, PSL is domestic level.

I know...First class is longer format , t20s and odis arent first class.
