Not required religiously but became a part of weddings after centuries of living alongside Hindus.

Usually Pakistani wedding is Mayoun, Mehndi, Baraat + Nikah and Valima.

Only the Nikah and Valima are really required religiously.

Tbh that's how it should be in this perverse media age.
That's a personal choice regardless of past issues.

This is a private matter and obviously Shadab is a renowned figure who is serving notice of his ceremony.

Oh do they not use ankle socks either? Otherwise you really need speciall shoes with 'in-build socks' to feel comfortable.
