Extremely offensive and brainwashing our girls into abandoning their values and traditions. Running away from weddings? Wow, thats a whole new level of low for advertising.
btw our interior minister who now adays acts as the SHO of Pakistan, even called the careem representatives over regarding this issue.
This is how pathetic our govt is, they take such matters very serious.
Our govt also prefers that our society continues to be backwards
If a girl is going to run away from her wedding because of this Careem ad, she probably has major issues already. While I agree that this ad is unnecessary, the uproar has been over the top and hyperbolic.

Such an obscene ad featuring a bepurdah aurat promoting be-hayai and beghairati has no place in a civilized society. It is rightly said, a whistling woman and a crowing hen, is neither fit for god nor men.
A girl who likes the groom will not runaway.
If it is a forced marriage, then its better to runaway using Careem than marry and suffer for the rest of her life.

On it's own it looks silly but you can see Careem are trying to produce a series of funny adverts. Nothing much wrong with it and it's a good advert as people will remember it.
What’s wrong with the ad?

It challenges/mocks the legitimacy of the widespread belief and practice.
Forced marriage.
