Told Root and then Sarfaraz that Hassan is reversing a ball that is only 12 overs old. Indicating foul play? Strange to see after the entire Plunkett episode.
 
Well he made certain that ball couldnt be used anymore
 
They are implying that hassan is ball tampering and Pakistan as a nation are cheats

We should complain to ICC so Bairstow can be fined or better yet banned for a match or two
 
I sensed vibes of Bairstow turning into a really despicable character of late. His success and fame has got to his head.
 
Poor sportsmanship from Bairstow. He is playing so well and doesn't need to make a clown of himself by making false accusastions.

Pakistan should make a complaint to the match referee to make sure he calms down in future games.
 
Its an art when English bowlers reverse it while its cheating when we do it.

Ridiculous stuff by Bairtow.

Bairstow apologised to Hassan knowing he hit a wrong nerve.
 
The nerve.
They should first look at the condition of the ball they were bowling with in the last match before pointing fingers at others.
Employing the use of the defense mechanism of projection,he is.
 
It all seemed a bit heated. Would be very bad if he is implying Hasan Ali is tampering
 
And then as he leaves the field after being out, he smashes the stumps!

He may have done Pakistan a favour and woke up the beast in Hasan. Pak need Hasan at his very best if we want to win this cup.

I think this is reverse psychology, the England camp probably felt affronted at being caught with a dodgy ball in the first match so have tried to push the focus back on Pakistan. Must be some guilt associated with it.
 
ICC probably won't have an issue with Bairstow hitting the stumps with his bat after being dismissed.



A five match ban was incoming had a Pakistani batsman done so.

He'll get a <=50% fine and 1 or 2 demerit points, exactly what the rules state he will and exactly what a Pakistani batsman would get.

Alao Bairstow probably knew if the ball so much as swings/spins a millimeter or does anything for that matter England are screwed.

You'll need to take it to twitter SOCIAL MEDIA to suspend/fine Bairstow for hitting the stumps. They would get docked for slow over-rate already. Add to it.

I understand your fume, but can you blame any team trying to "sledge" PAK on field - ball tampering, ball biting, pitch dancing, caught with drugs, doping, swallowing wife's pill, spot fixing, chucking and then remodeled chucking, spectator chasing, Justice Quiyum's report, racism ......... what not - there are enough "tools" to get under the skin.

Johnny didn't do anything wrong - he tried to take the advantage within the game, there are Umpires for a reason .... your dumb captain was in the middle when Plunkett was bowling with that ball .... and he probably had Biriyani in his mouth, didn't open it .......
 
Hasan Ali often reverses the ball in t20. It's not unheard of when the conditions are right.
 
When your own players are doing it , not sure johnny really has any right to complain
This sense of entitlement from English players comes from the way they are coaches and coaxed through a an extensive education in cricket mostly in special establishments with high level coaching

Bairstow is whining about nothing .i hope in world cup if not pakistan our neighbour country india bring back these arrogant englishmen to earth

Jonny Bairstow: I was furious with myself for failing to reach 200

Jonny Bairstow said that his pulverising innings of 128 off 93 balls made him feel back at home in English conditions after his stint in the Indian Premier League but was still livid with himself for getting out.

“I was really pleased with that innings — coming back here after being in India is a challenge,” Bairstow, 29, said. “It was good fun. When you get on a wicket that is favourable for batting, it’s good to make the most of it.”

After being bowled by Junaid Khan to leave England 234 for two in the 29th over with 125 runs required to beat Pakistan, Bairstow bashed his bat into the stumps. “I was furious getting out because when you get into positions like that you want to go on to get 170, 180 or 200, you have to capitalise on that.”

Having kept wicket in the absence of the rested Jos Buttler, Bairstow shared an opening partnership of 159 with Jason Roy in 17.3 overs.

“It’s really good batting with Jason,” he said. “We complement each other well — running between the wickets or getting off to a flyer. We’re enjoying each other’s success and the team’s. We do have a bit of a laugh together once we are in.”

Eoin Morgan praised the way his team had gone about their chase. “I thought the guys came out and played in the manner that we have for some time now,” the captain said.

“We thought it was pretty much a par score and it was a really good batting wicket. Jonny and Jason were outstanding and set the platform and went about it the way we want to go about our business. When guys perform like this it builds confidence in the dressing room.”

The honest truth is 358 was not enough on that pitch. We can do banghra about the performance but England would have got closer to 400 had they batted 1st.

Yes we don't like this era in terms of pitches and scores but we have no choice but to adapt to it. On these type of pitches , you have to be scoring more but our bowlers should have performed much better.
 
I think one of these England batters are going to get to 200 during the next few months for sure. Bairstow, Roy, Buttler, all are in line to achieve this feat.
 
This is the difference between india, England and Pakistan.

You guys face it difficulty accepting that even 360 can only be a par score.

Game has moved ahead so much. It's time Pakistan catches up.

To be honest 360 is an excellent, Pakistani bowlers have become soft and need to deliver or be put on notice and then replaced. Big 5 teams will defend 360 runs 9 times out of 10.
 
I knew that Pakistan isnt doing enough when they were struggling to hit out in final overs. The score would have been even lower if Hasan didnt hit those sixes and fours in the end.

One thing that should be learned here is that you shouldnt bat first on these pitches. And Pakistan needs one more power hitting batsman batsman down the order. Imad wasim doesnt have it in him against pacers.
 
An untampered ball generally starts to reverse after around 350-400 deliveries with it.

Hasan Ali is reversing it after around 70 deliveries.

Pakistan need to be careful not to get caught.

Hold on.

Bairstow hit a few sixes out of the park that landed on cement, concrete outside.
Pakistani fielders were also purposely throwing the ball at the stumps every time a shot was played at their hands and there was no chance of a single being taken.

You dont have to scratch the ball to make it rough
 
Anyone else questioning the integrity of opposing tea or smashing stumps would get a minimum 2 match ban. Bairstow was “reprimanded”. Height of double standards here from ICC.

Yes, absolutely ridiculous double standards to apply the regulations and code of conduct exactly as it is stated...

It wouldn’t be the biggest loss in the world if hasan Ali was caught
It might even free up Mohammed hasnain
 
Johnny Bairstow's behaviour in the 3rd ODI

For some odd reason, I can't find the article on ICC website and even on Google. How much was he fined for his behavior and abusing the equipment?

Can someone please link the article to me?
 
His behaviour was fine. In one incident Hassan Ali seem to provoke him.
