Afaq Afridi first noticed him during the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2024, where he represented SBP. He is tall and has a good variety of lengths in his bowling, delivering at a reasonable pace. If developed carefully, he could become a promising prospect for Pakistan in the future. Today, he made his debut for the Lions against the Dolphins in PCB Champions T20 Cup 2024.

He can improve. Looks ok so far. His leg crumbles when he is delivering the ball and that could be slowing him down. But good start to his domestic career. Would love to see him getting groomed.

Yea but U19 boys were quicker than him and younger also so why not work on them first?

Moreover I have seen in this Quaid Trophy we have got 3/4 new young bowlers capable of bowling in mid 130s while occasionally touching 140k as well so I wonder why they choose Afaq and Shahid Aziz over them for this T20 tournament?

Surely those bowlers being young have potential to increase their pace more and become 145k bowlers in couple of seasons.
