For me it has to be Ponting as he's honestly the perfect player.

Despite the indian propaganda i view Ponting as the most complete cricketer in history who was bogged down by poor form at the end of his career.

Clutch batsmen in both odi and test, amazing captain, amazing fielder.

Easily the greatest cricketer of all time. Maybe de villers was more complete as a player but ponting has more records
