just saw his bowling on youtube, seems to have a smooth low effort action, only technical issue is he jumps out in delivery stride. hieght looks good, and pace seems brisk, but not express. gets good in swing, and picked on wicket with the one that straightens.

ig he can up his pace a bit he can b a good bowler,

Done well for Northern so far, could be a good international prospect in the same mould as Mohammad Abbas if he keeps up this level of domestic performance for another couple of seasons.

He had 24 wickets @21 in last to last QEA playing for northern so it's not 1st season that he has performed well. From what I've seen of him he has decent height (certainly 6feet) and looked late 130s to 140k to my eye.

Players like him need to be invested in ODIs, not gully bowlers like Haris Rauf who have no interest in red ball cricket.

A decent bowler in line up. The most interesting part is that he is focused on Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (Red ball) cricket.

He looks good, good inswing and decent pace.

He should be the one going to Australia and not Amir Jamal or Hasan Ali. Has height, bounce and is brisk pace. I predict he will be in Pak X1 very soon

He looks around 6 feet and is 140kph+ for sure. 140kph+ bowler doing well in FC is a rarity in Pakistan these days

He looks better than Hasan Ali. Nice easy action and looks to be moving the ball( but that maybe the ball) but when i have watched him in matches he has too much of a solid county bowler vibe. But that yardstick can be misleading because the wickets have no bounce.

He's taller than the average Pakistani bowler and hits the wicket very hard and extracts movement. The pace is certainly a lot more than a typical solid county bowler and I'm not just saying this because of this video.

He seems to be troubling all the batters. Looking really good in this video at least. Hitting the bat hard and beating the batters consistently.

Sadly as any Pakistani talent with even an ounce of talent, you need to have a 100% do-it-yourself attitude, no coach is helping you with any technical issues.

Your fitness (understandably), being injury free, fixing technique issues- PCB coaches and medical team are completely and utterly incompetent and will make you a worse bowler or batsman more often than not. They are not helping with any of the above.

Look at Anwar Ali, Junaid Khan, M Zahid, Mukhtar Ahmed the batsman and Shaheen as well atm struggling and having to lower his pace.

Save up for medical expenses, take care of your body, and consult foreign coaches even if online. But don’t trust PCB personnel. Most incompetent board of the last 20 years.

With that said I wish him the best, and hope he remains injury free and has a solid career. In Sha Allah.

I hope you are right. With such low and slow, a terrible wickets that i watched him on, my judgement comes with a pinch of salt

Can't judge him based on dead wickets. Play him in A tours. Play him in overseas pitches. Then we shall see. Looks talented. Tall. Brisk pace.

Junid khan was really mistreated very poorly. Shame on useless pcb. You have people calling him chucker etc, but he was never quite given a fair chance. He was played constantly in flat wickets. Never got a real opportunity in tests to play overseas.

He needs to be added to the 18 that are going I think he is better then Khurram and Hamza

I haven't seen him bowl this domestic season because of how awful the coverage has been but I did watch him a bit last season and he was always one of the better bowlers for the Northern team. IIRC from the speed guns they had in some matches, he was around 135-140 but he is not a super pacey bowler. More of a line/length bowler that can get the ball to seam around. One of the few domestic bowlers who actually has potential for Test cricket.

He steams in too hard and loses it all at the time of delivery plus the slow arm speed is not helping him either resulting him in losing atleast 5k , he needs to sort out his run up atleast and focus on releasing hard instead of running hard.

First impressions after watching the video is that he will be dead after his first spell and start bowling 135 kho pies, getting clipped by Smith, Labuschagne and Head all day long.

Seems like another classic soda bottle Pakistani pacer who makes a loud pop but there is nothing inside. Not impressed at all.

Your prediction is 100% wrong because he won't get to bowl to Smith, Labu or Head.

News flash: He isn't in squad :)

I didn’t bother checking the squad because I don’t need to. They are mentally weak and mediocre players and it makes no difference who is picked in the squad because the end result will not change.

You can pick any combination of players and the result will remain the same: a whitewash.

Khurrum Manzoor demolition of Kashif Ali

Best of luck to him tomorrow, its a test match, different format, different pitch, different day.

he will likely bowl on a pitch where he will be used for maybe 5 to 10 overs if he doesnt pick up a wicket where the last 62 test wickets Pakistan have taken have fallen to spinners. paks next test will pbly be in 7 or 8 months time. im glad for the guy, but debuting him is utterly pointless.

I have yet to see him bowling live . Not expecting him to be a Waqar Younis or Akthar but hopefully he has lively pace , at least in 135-138 kmh range , not another production of Pakistan trundler factory.

I think it was a good decision to give him a game. Khurram would have been playing for no reason. He might have bowled just 1 over and all he would have done was to field ... Kashif can do the same as well.

Proper military medium pacer. Top speed at 130KPH. Don't think he can be effective on anything other than green tops and overcast conditions. Maybe he can become a county legend like Abbas

He is finished now , was a good bowler in his prime but he didn’t got the chance , it’s better if we groom some young pacers for test cricket who can actually improve

SNGPL’s Kashif Ali (5/56) delivered a standout bowling performance on Day 1 of the sixth round of the President’s Trophy 2025 against HEC.
