There is a time and a place - your team hanging on by a thread is NOT that time!
I kinda like it, its taking the mickey out of their opponents. The most embarrassing celebration is the Bangladeshi snake dance. I hate it![]()
Some of these modern-day celebrations make me cringe.
I much prefer the point the batsman to the pavilion send-off that bowlers used to give.
Come on guys lighten up, compared to footballer's goal celebrations, cricketers celebrations are mild. I remember one footballer dropped his shorts after scoring a goal - now thats cringe worthy!Hasan Ali's celebration is cringe worthy...

He has to hold up that tradition now since it has gotten popular.Crowd started getting louder even before he started the celebration as they wanted to see it.Besides I don't think he's getting many chances this WC unless Kuldeep remains ineffective and his form slump continues so might as well enjoy whatever time he gets in middle even if its a warmup match
Hasan Ali's celebration is cringe worthy...
That is the best send-off. Isn't it banned now? Sending a player off?
U are wrong jadeja will start india is well aware of having a strong tail on these flat wickets that would be the difference between winning and losing. Jadeja bowled more economically than kuldeep. Also kuldeep is extremely easy to play when you don’t play him across the line you can milk him. Jadejas bowling is simple but when one can grip and take out the off stump you never know. Looking at the flat wickets jadeja will start.

Afridi's starman celebration will always remain the classiest celebration in cricket tbh.

This.
Lala's celebration had it all. The meaning, creativity and originality.

This celebration when well there should really have been no cause for celebration....
What was this all about?

Hassan Ali dropped the ball mid celebration, the batsmen queried whether he had full control of the ball abd if the catch was legal. i seem to recall it was given out. Think it was a tour match before the england series or a warm up for the world cup.

Amazing celebration. Unfortunately doesn't have the talent to back it.
But how did handkerchief turn into a stick?
Andrew flintoff was doing it way before boom boom.
Lala did it better.
He did something like that in PSL last season too.. bizarreHaris Rauf's celebration in BBL not being very well received...

He won't be doing it again. Qalandars have told him to stop.
Saj did Qalandars told Shaheen Afridi to stop doing it? Did anyone from Peshawar Zalmi and/or PSL management told Wahab Riaz to stop it?He won't be doing it again. Qalandars have told him to stop.

This celebration isn't something I'm a fan of but I feel for Haris Rauf for getting flocked for it when it somewhat became a standard celebrations for the likes of Wahab Riaz who seems to have invented and got away with it clearly and Haris Rauf only got inspired from it just like his teammate from Lahore Qalandars, Shaheen Afridi, got inspired by Wahab as well.

I can't comment on Wahab or Shaheen, what I do know is that Qalandars have told Haris not to do the celebration any more.
Saj, stopping him is not a good thing at all. He is a naturally aggressive bowler. Something we have missed for so long. His celebrations are natural as he is pumped up. Mark my words, we will turn him into another timid player like the rest of the bowlers by continously suppressing him down.
What is even wrong with him celebrating and letting it out? He is not abusing the batsman.
shaz619 Rauf doing an undertaker eh..

This is risky. He can injure himself.

He looks fine. Very balanced on his jumps.
elaborate celebrations are cringe, especially if it looks like uve been thinking abt doing it. the best celebrations appear either spontaneous or nonchalant.
unfortunately it appears like pakistan bowlers seem to want their own cringe celebrations, even shaheen, for as great a bowler as he is, looks silly when he does the star man after dismissing a number 11. the less said abt hassan ali the better.
Bit of a copycat but ...
Bangladesh Ebadot Hossain (C) celebrates the wicket of New Zealand's Will Young (R) during day four of the first cricket Test match between New Zealand and Bangladesh at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Tuesday

There was a history behind it. Sarfraz was not being played despite his good performances in the past and once he made a comeback he was MOM against SA and this game vs Ireland
