He was gone for Umrah, did it and returned backIs Babar actually joining in or just there to make pictures for social media?
Yeah now he's working hard to regain the captaincyHe was gone for Umrah, did it and returned back
He was always a hard worker, the reason why he is a top cricketer today is because he was a hard worker from day 1.Yeah now he's working hard to regain the captaincy![]()
Yeah no doubt he is!He was always a hard worker, the reason why he is a top cricketer today is because he was a hard worker from day 1.
Captaincy or no captaincy never changed his work ethics.
There is a reason why he plays and went on to captain Pakistan, while non of the Akmal brothers were able to keep there spots or get the captaincy.
Definitely. He's one of the rarest Pakistani Cricketers who is actually (close to) to doing justice to his talent. He was always a hard worker, the reason why he is a top cricketer today is because he was a hard worker from day 1.

The runs are happening at night i think. Also don't understand the need for physical training during the day when players are fasting?
What's the point? Why not switch night and day for Ramadan?
T20 World Cup will not be held in Ramadan conditions so no need.
you disapprove of Rizzu's top fitness ?All the tuks have good fitness scores
I guess Irfan Niazi had a better score than him and he was also the fielder of the tournament in PSL 9.So Rizwan is not only the fastest to run 2km but also the best fielder.
Yes but Rizwan surely takes it.I guess Irfan Niazi had a better score than him and he was also the fielder of the tournament in PSL 9.
Man looking at these cirkceters i can say for sure that none of them ever did any leg days, i.e. if they went to gym. Shocking, absolutely shocking.
Was Imad smokingWhat's the point of finding out things we already know?
We know Azam has fitness issues, as does Imad with his knee
By putting these people under physical stress
1. Will demotivate them
2. May worsen their injuries
His legs are so skinny dammBabar should not skip legday.

Name me one unfit guy who's supposedly better than the fit ones? The problem in Pakistan is that if you are extremely fit, you are a crap modern white ball batsman.
Name me one extremely fit guy who is good enough to be considered a modern white ball batsman in Pakistan?
One? Sharjeel Khan, Azam Khan, Umar AkmalName me one unfit guy who's supposedly better than the fit ones?
True legends of the game, I need to apologise for overlooking these greats! One? Sharjeel Khan, Azam Khan, Umar Akmal
3 names that come at the top of my head who still hit the ball or try to hit the ball harder than these certified Tuks
Your not getting the point, that’s fine.True legends of the game, I need to apologise for overlooking these greats!
Chairman PCB visits Kakul camp
Abbottabad, 1 April 2024:
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi, visited Kakul in Abbottabad today to personally observe the ongoing fitness camp being conducted by trainers from the Pakistan Army for Pakistan's T20 players. The visit aimed at gathering firsthand insights into the training camp and to extend gratitude to the Pakistan Army for their invaluable support in organising the camp.
The fitness camp has been instrumental in enhancing the physical capabilities of Pakistan's T20 players, ensuring they are in optimal condition for forthcoming cricketing assignments which also includes ICC T20 World Cup in June this year.
Chairman also took the opportunity to interact with the players, personally commending them for their dedication and active participation in the camp. He expressed satisfaction over the players' enthusiasm and commitment towards enhancing their fitness levels.
In addition to meeting with the players, Chairman PCB also held a meeting with the selection committee to talk about the team’s selection ahead of the New Zealand T20I series. The meeting was also attended by captain Babar Azam. Chairman PCB also took the members into confidence on the developments made by the Board regarding the appointment of head coach.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi: “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistan Army for their support to our cricketers. Their collaboration will not only enhance the fitness levels of our players but will also make them more disciplined in future.
"This camp will surely put the players in good stead before undertaking a challenging journey leading to a global tournament in the USA and West Indies.
“The PCB remains dedicated to providing comprehensive support to its players, equipping them with the necessary tools and resources to excel at the international level.”
Why did naqvi come to the camp?Lol trust me, not a single player has the cajones to take Mohsin Naqvi on or enter his bad books. They know full well who he is connected too and how powerful his relationship with that person is.
Why did naqvi come to the camp?
Surely it can't be to simply apologise to shaheen?
FairHe is all over the place but he works very hard at his job. According to a sports reporter he is taking all of his jobs seriously i.e. he dedicates morning to evening daily to his duties as interior minister, evening to mid night to his duties as PCB chairman, he will run the PCB virtually from Monday to Thursday but be on the PCB premises on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Wahab and the guy Bilal are keep tabs in the PCB on his behalf
I thought Irfan Khan Niazi was the fatest ?So Rizwan is not only the fastest to run 2km but also the best fielder.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to announce the squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand on April 5th.
The selection committee members are currently assessing the fitness levels of the players at the Kakul fitness camp. They will provide a detailed report to PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who is scheduled to visit Kakul today to meet the players. Naqvi has directed the selectors that there will be no compromise on fitness.
Discussions are in progress among the selectors concerning potential players for the squad. Recommendations, following consultations with captain Babar Azam, will be submitted to the Cricket Board Chairman for approval.
According to sources, selectors are contemplating the implementation of a rotation policy to mitigate the risk of injuries in preparation for the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and West Indies. Specifically, Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah are earmarked to play in selective matches against New Zealand to manage their workload and mitigate injury risks before the T20 World Cup.
Exactly , heard Azam khan couldn’t even complete 2km run , withdrew from running at 1.5 km which he took 20 mins. Well people could walk 1.5 km in 20 mins. How bad is his fitness playing international cricket.nothing more than a topi drama, do other top cricketers train with the army, do top footballers train with the army regularly, do f1 drivers, etc, train with the army, no, as a top athlete your fitness should be specialised for the job you need to do, not for marching and fighting wars, which tbh even the pak army dont do.
some good media for the army, but a generally useless exercise, if your top players arent professional enough to care about their fitness a two week camp wont change anything. and surprise surprise, those who do best in these camps are the guys who have good fitness standards camp or no camp.
Yes he was the fastest completed within 7 mins , Rizwan took 8.5 mins.I thought Irfan Khan Niazi was the fatest ?
Saim Ayub is doing drills at Kakul Training Camp.
Well, people are worrying that such drills can cause injuries. But trust me, these are basic drills that should be easy for any athlete.

Basic drills for any athlete? How is a bootcamp specifically designed for military purposes in any way relevant for “any athlete?” I can already tell you that some of the drills from the footage are not used in football, they are AVOIDED.
Running whilst slouching with a human body on your back is extremely dangerous for the back and tendons/joints. Instead the modern sports and modern athletes will
use weighted vests.
Furthermore, look at when Ayub picks up that block, the posture and form is horrible, you are asking for injuries.
Please stop misleading things when Pakistan already so behind the fitness culture. The least we can do is provide accurate information on what is right and wrong so the younger generation know what to avoid and what to do as part of their fitness regime.

Im hoping that Babars stubborness would increase multifold by getting re-instated as captain...
His resistance to changes and not listening to any recommendations cost his side , a poor show at the WC 2023
Will see what he does this time around.. Saim Ayub would come at no.3 I guess to start with lol..
