[PICTURES/VIDEOS] PTI Protests and Rallies

Allowing Imran Khan unrestricted access to the outside world raises serious security concerns.

Given his role in orchestrating the events of May 9th, there is every reason to be cautious. We simply cannot afford to take the risk of him planning another attack on the country
Below is the link to UN standard minimum rules for the treatment of prisoners. These are rules as a minimum should be complied by prisons across the world.

Rule 3 - Imprisonment and other measures that result in cutting off persons from the outside world are afflictive by the very fact of taking from these persons the right of self-determination by depriving them of their liberty.

You can read further from rule 58 onwards.

Zardari spent 10+ years in jail in harsher conditions, but but but it’s a miracle that Tsunami Khan has survived 2 years with an air conditioner and a diet of mutton and chicken 🤣🤣🤣

We all remember what Imran said about Nawaz few years ago. He said, and I quote: “when you have an AC in your cell, half of Pakistan population will ask to be imprisoned”.

What is your source for this information? (about AC and muctton and chicken)

Brother, may Allah guide you. Some bits highlighted in bold to expand below in light or Islamic teaching.

You have accused Imran of being a traitor. The guidance in Islam is very clear when laying an allegation as serious as someone being a traitor. The accuser should provide clear and reliable evidence for his allegations. If its a false allegation then it counts as a major sin in Islam and I'm fairly certain you are familiar with major sins. Also read some hadith on what Prophet has said for false allegations especially of traitor.
Just out of curiosity, does that hadith apply only when it comes to defending Imran Khan? What about the false accusations he’s made against other politicians without any solid evidence and based on assumptions Or does accountability only go one way?

You actually called out civilians to be killed. I'm sure you are aware its part of Quran that whoever kills an innocent civilian has slain the entire mankind. Also you would be familiar with Prophet's orders during wartime that non-combatants should not be killed even in warfare. Brother, your hatred has gotten the better of the man inside you.

Next you are suggesting to mock Imran. I will only say this below.
"O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people — perhaps they may be better than them..."
Qur’an 49:11
There are also verses in the Quran that emphasise the importance of obeying the law of the land as a religious obligation. Once you choose to defy the country’s laws, you can no longer claim to be innocent

Destroying or damaging a soldier’s memorial is considered a criminal offense even in countries like the UK. I don’t see the Pakistani government acting any differently. These so-called ‘innocent’ individuals would face similar consequences anywhere else. Meanwhile, @Mamoon Bhai argues that the punishment for those involved should be even harsher and i totally agree.

On first point the Islamic teachings apply universally across everyone. What I shared above is false accusation of a "traitor" the teachings remain same whether the accuser be Mamoon or IK.

On second point the poster suggester shooting (infact killing protestors), so my question is protesting an offense as per Pakistan law?

Destroying memorials or ransacking a house are criminal offences and should be processed legally correct. Everyone is in favour of these individual to be tried under the law. However what are these cases doing in military courts?

I'm happy to bring the latest judgement by trial courts to discuss the merit of the case if you are happy to debate upon it too.

Mr. Khan’s official X account claims he has called for the protests on August 5th, but if he truly has no access to the outside world, then how is that even possible?

I’m not going to go through that entire document unless you can point me to the exact paragraph. But as far as I know, if a prisoner poses a threat to national security, their communication with the outside world can legally be restricted.

So when Imran Khan labelled Nawaz Sharif a 'traitor', was that considered justified? And if so, where is the clear and credible evidence to support such a serious accusation

Yesterday you told us there was no support but you forget to tell this to the murderous Junta and their puppets. 804 imposed on the whole country. Just like you, they have kacked their pants.

As a political leader ofcourse he wants to protest against the usurper government in house today. Protest is a legal right so there is no harm in calling out to protest. If you are implying that tweet was written by Imran Khan from his laptop in jail cell then jail authorities should be held accountable.

On second point I literally pointed out to the rules in the document with references. As they say you can only take horse to the water....

Pakistan police arrest 120 workers of ex-PM Imran Khan's party ahead of protest

Police arrested 120 activists of Pakistan's main opposition party in raids overnight, security officials said, ahead of protests planned for Tuesday, the second anniversary of the jailing of their leader, Imran Khan.

Most of the detentions, made on Monday night and early on Tuesday, were in the eastern city of Lahore, two police officers told Reuters, where Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party vowed its biggest demonstration, as well as protests elsewhere.

At least 200 activists had been arrested from Lahore, said party spokesperson Zulfikar Bukhari, adding that the protest would go ahead.

Lahore is the capital of the eastern province of Punjab, the country's most politically important region and home to half its population.

The Punjab government and the provincial police did not respond to requests for comment on Tuesday.
In a statement on Monday, police said large contingents of police were providing security in all the province's major cities.

Khan's party had always created "chaos", Uzma Bukhari, a spokesperson of the provincial government, told a press conference on Monday.

"No political party can be barred from politics in Pakistan, but a terrorist organisation disguised as a political party is not allowed to disrupt Pakistan's peace," Bukhari added.

In a message attributed to Khan on his party's X account on Monday, he urged supporters to "come out and hold peaceful protests until a true democracy is restored in the country".

The former cricket star was elected prime minister in 2018 but, once in office, fell out with Pakistan's powerful military and was ousted in 2022 through a vote in parliament.

His arrest in May 2023 sparked protests against the military nationwide, leading to a crackdown on the party.
Khan, who denies any wrongdoing, dismisses as politically motivated the dozens of cases against him, ranging from terrorism to disclosure of official secrets.

If an offence poses a threat to national security, civilians can be tried in military courts
On first point I leave it to you to point me to where Imran has specifically mentioned Nawaz is a traitor. As far as I know the most common slang being used is that of "chor".

On second point below is the link to Army Act of 1952 and section 2 clearly justifies on whom the Act can be enacted.

Again I leave it to you to provide evidence where its mentioned that civilians can be tried in military courts.

The Gullu Butts off PP and in Punjab having a field day. Arresting an 80 years old lady. Attacking car of another prominent worker.

What these jokers don't understand is that the future of Maryam and Bilwal have been comoletely destroyed. They are just being used as front faces and people will not forget this.

As I said before, we will all be here in sha Allah and witness the end result of this.

What stops you from leaving Norway and coming to Pakistan to join the protest? What good is your support on PakPassion?

@IMMY69 is scared of his British wife.
@KingKhanWC said he is British and has no loyalty towards Pakistan.
@Bewal Express doesn’t have the money to buy plane tickets.

What is your excuse?

If 200 million in Pakistan cant help themselves, a few westerners wont help lol.

The question here is why those living in Pakistan like you are smiling when elderly women are being beaten and thrown into cop cars?

Isn’t this the same Bajwa you and other followers of Firqa-e-Imrania used to praise day and night and whose extension you supported? 🤣🤣🤣
So you dont deny the coup. What should happen to him and Munir overthrow of the PK constitution. I know you dont have the balls to say but have a go.🤣🤣🤣

These threads are not about us, they are about people like you.
Whether you're in Pakistan or timbucktoo, it matters not.
When imbeciles, supporters of crooks, complicit in theft and murders show up here on PP some of us feel the need to expose you, no matter how much you expose yourself.

Before you bring up the British Government and their actions/inactions and the taxes we pay, well at least we can go to protests and make our voices heard without the fear of arrest, jail or even death. We can actually vote and our vote is accepted...

Growing up in the UK, I was proud how my background of Pakistani shows so much respect to mothers, elderly women. This is a basic tenant of Islam and of any human with dignity.

These bhaigarat should be punished for treating women in such a manners and their supporters too but sadly they prob treat their own mothers in the same manner at home.

Absolutely. PK politics is brutal but who would have thought that they would sink so low as to physically attack women. I hate Maryam Nawaz but I would be shocked and appalled if a finger was laid on her in this manner and they would lose my support. These beghairat take pleasure in this as they know that holding PK hostage is their only hope of illegally holding onto power.

Listen for the last time—whether you agree or not, whether you like it or not—this is my stance.

I’m a Norwegian citizen. I can’t vote in Pakistan, and Alhamdulillah, I live a comfortable life here with my family. So why do I care about Pakistan?

I care because I love the country. My parents are from Pakistan. I was born there and spent the first 5–6 years of my life in that land. And now, living in the West, I can observe the situation in Pakistan from a more objective and informed perspective—and what I see is deeply troubling.

If Pakistan is truly a democracy, then why was the 2024 election stolen? Why was Imran Khan’s party dismantled under foreign pressure? Why are women being attacked in their homes? Why are ordinary citizens being forced to hold press conferences under duress? These are not soldiers or warriors—they are regular people.

When things are clearly broken, the least I can do is raise my voice. I’m not calling for violence or chaos. I’m simply asking for justice, transparency, and dignity.

Why is it that in a Muslim-majority country, people are not even allowed to peacefully protest in support of Palestine? Why are voices being silenced?

There are so many injustices happening that I honestly don’t know where to begin. And privileged individuals like you may never understand. I’ve seen your true colors over the years, but I won’t stoop to attacking your character. My concern is for the poor and vulnerable in Pakistan—those who are truly suffering.

Let the people decide who they want to lead them. That’s all I’m asking.

The scum planned this perhaps yesterday so could have used female cops but decided to use male rishwat cops to humiliate the lady .

I feel sorry for women in the family of such supporters.

Stop this nonsense of the strawman argument. PKs overseas make no difference to the future of PK. Its PKs that gave the PTI 180 seats not overseas PKs. If PKs want to be free of tyranny, they will do what ever people have done to get freedom. They have done the legal thing ie vote even though IK was in jail, his name couldn't be mentioned and the party was banned. That didnt work against the Junta mafia.

Corruption, lying, looting, deception is in the blood of the corrupt going back to their great granddads era. Many Pakistanis esp landowners, politicians, army, police have been fed haram milk from the day they were born until the roti they eat now stolen off others. This will take a long time to change in society , however if corrupt leaders and their corrupt followers continue it may take a longer time.

This is common sense but those defending it like you must be worried you may not always benefit from these crimes?

I’m just wondering how you came to that conclusion?

do you have any solid evidence to back it up? I’m not talking about what someone said on a random talk show, random social media posts, or clips from Imran Khan’s speeches. That kind of stuff is just opinion, not actual proof.

If you're going to make a serious claim, it should be backed by facts, not just what’s floating around online or on TV or someone's assumption.

Lahore police detains over 30 PTI activists amid protests marking 2 years of Imran’s imprisonment

The Lahore police on Tuesday said it detained more than 30 PTI activists after they took to the streets to officially kick off a nationwide movement for the release of ex-premier Imran Khan, who has been in jail for two years now.

Imran, imprisoned since Aug 5, 2023 in a case related to state gifts, is serving a sentence at the Adiala Jail in a £190 million corruption case and also faces pending trials in alleged terrorism cases related to the May 9, 2023 riots.

Imran had issued a nationwide protest call, with a statement attributed to him saying that the “movement that begins on August 5 will continue until democracy is restored in its true spirit”. According to PTI leader Asad Qaiser, August 5 was the inception of the protest, but it should not be considered a “final call”.

Lahore Deputy Inspector General (operations) Faisal Kamran told Dawn.com: “More than 30 PTI activists trying to block roads in different areas of the city were taken into custody.”

He denied reports of the police arresting hundreds of activists.

At around 1pm, the PTI claimed that one of its leaders, Rehana Dar, had been detained by the police in Lahore.

“An elder like Rehana Dar is being dragged by the shameless Punjab Police, a disgraceful sight,” the PTI said on its official X account.

It shared a video showing Dar, who contested the 2024 general elections in Sialkot against PML-N’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, being dragged into a police van by personnel with riot gear.

The PTI said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Punjab Inspector General Dr Usman Anwar “have sunk to a new low with this act” and “abandoned all sense of shame and decency”.

Raja Shahbaz Bhatti, president of the PTI’s Insaf Youth Wing in north Punjab, claimed on X that he was injured due to police action and that four others were arrested.

PTI Balochistan President Dawood Shah Kakar claimed “several” PTI workers, including five leaders, were arrested after they gathered at a place in Balochistan’s Kohlu district for a protest.

The PTI’s Multan chapter alleged that its Lahore rally was “attacked by police”, with multiple vehicles participating in it facing damage. Visuals shared by it showed the back window of a car shattered with a hole in it.

Qaiser yesterday said raids had begun in Punjab and Kashmir, while PTI Punjab media cell head Shayan Bashir claimed that the police carried out some 200 raids and picked up party workers, who were released after allegedly submitting affidavits.

Opposition leaders stopped while heading to Adiala Jail
Ahead of today’s planned protests, the Rawalpindi administration banned all assemblies and gatherings till August 10 under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, citing an “imminent threat”.

Today, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, Tehreek Tahafuz Ayin-i-Pakistan (TTAP) chief Mahmood Achkazai, MNA Shandana Gulzar and others departed for Adiala Jail, where Imran is imprisoned, the party said at 3pm.

“We will record our protest under any circumstance as it is our Constitutional right,” Achakzai said on X.

However, they were stopped by the Punjab police, with the TTAP sharing a video of Achakzai’s exchange with the personnel. “This route is closed,” a cop was heard saying.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is expected to attend a rally in Peshawar, according to a video showing a container for that gathering.

According to other videos it posted, the party organised rallies in various cities across the country.

Former Azad Jammu and Kashmir premier Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, who was recently detained under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) Ordinance, also led a rally after his last-night release, the PTI said.

The PTI also shared a video of convoys departing from Peshawar , Mansehra and other cities for Swabi.

Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry lament Imran’s imprisonment
Separately, former PTI leaders Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry, both of whom had parted ways with the party in the wake of the May 9 riots, also lamented Imran’s two-year-long incarceration.

@emranabbas
Why have they imposed restrictions on the whole country with 804? You said yesterday the PTI had no support and today the Junta and Puppets in full panic mode. Why

I just asked a simple question and was hoping for a clear answer with some solid evidence. I’d really appreciate if we could just stick to the question I asked.

He will run off. @emranabbas

The Question you have to answer is- is his name Nawaz Sharif?
Or even better has Allah forgiven Asif Zardari.

So are these guys lying and the cases were fake? Which means both need to be locked up. Were all the cases real, if so who stopped the prosecution?

If you’re going to bring @Bewal Express into this discussion, then I’m done. I’ve got no interest in wasting my time dragging myself down to his level to teach him a lesson. He’s hands down the most clueless, illiterate thick-headed person on this forum who can’t even tell the difference between some random YouTube nonsense and actual evidence.

I’m happy to have a conversation with you, especially since you seem open to a sensible and respectful discussion for a change.

I have posted videos that are relevant to the conversation. You can explain to him why NS and AZ kept locking each other up. If the cases were fake then both are criminals and if the cases a real then both are criminals. So what is it

If you’re going to take their words seriously and as evidence, then it’s only fair to also acknowledge that the same politicians have called Imran Khan corrupt too.

You can’t pick and choose what suits your narrative without it seeming a bit inconsistent.
And look, I’m not trying to be rude, but this is why I said earlier that your not fit to have these discussions.

So let's not take the words seriously but both NS and AZ spent time in Jail. According to @Mamoon AZ spent 10 years in Jail( i need to check this). If he did then you are saying that NS is a criminal and needs to be locked up for locking up an innocent man. The cases against NS weren't just words they were followed Up by cases with actual evidence. He actually lives in the Avenfield flats. And he also did time. Which AZ should be in jail.
So this lie that they were just words is proven by ground facts. So once again are they both guilty of locking up innocent people which is a crime and an automatic disqualification with jail time. So please explain this contradiction in your very confused explanation.

@Bewal Express is a good man but does not seem to understand the concept of evidence. He posts random links and claims it is evidence. Once he sent me a video clip of a random person and called him Governor of Punjab.

He sent me the same clip with the commissioner three times, along with some edited video involving Mansoor Khan and Maryam at least four or five times, trying to pass it off as evidence. That’s when I realised he is, just clueless, so I started ignoring him. Now he’s under the illusion that I 'ran away' from him lol and tags me under every post

Whereas you need to be in a group to target innocents at a restaurant (by your own admission). Courageous indeed....

Dont worry it wasn't a relative of yours...or maybe they were.

You're here to debate, you're here to defend criminals. At least try lol ??

He sends me the same edited video of MN. I don't even support MN so not even sure why he sends it.

He doesnt have the basic courage to answer 2 simple questions. Because we know the answers.
Did you even answer the question I asked you? No, you didn’t.

So why should I answer yours? I see right through it it’s just your usual tactic to dodge the question by throwing one back at me when you don’t have a real answer.

Typical Dimmy/PTI Burger Kid getting personal - sit away in the comforts of a foreign land and keep trying to drum up fake patriotism from Rotherham.

Apparently he made some "Nawaz supporters" leave a restaurant in Roterham and he is proud....

Ive never been Rotherham but Ive been to Lahore, sadly I wont have any mittai or chai to offer you as I'd rather go jail than pay bribes to corrupt people.

You both are like Rangeela and Nanna. Its a circus just like your criminal heros lol.

Hindutva and Zionists are far smarter than bache of Nawaz and Zardari.

Alright, let’s go with your logic Nawaz and Zardari went to jail, so that automatically makes them corrupt. By that same standard, Imran Khan is also in jail, so would you agree he’s corrupt too?

And if you don’t mind, please try to write in proper English and use paragraphs it would make your posts much easier to read.

Spoken like a true burger from Roterham. No need to get touchy, I hope no relatives were involved?

So let's here an explanation.

To these imbeciles, the Panama papers never existed...
Today alone @emranabbas
Has confessed that both AZ and NS are corrupt criminals . Today alone he has reminded everyone that his dearest Nani confessed to a crime and Today alone he confessed that he lied about the Sugar price. This is the level of stupidity and more importantly, immorality. I dont know if you saw him run from the AZ and NS confession. Worth the admission money.

Some things are open secrets and don't necessarily need to be proven in the court of law. If you have spent any amount of time in Pakistan, you should know how the society and culture work. It's different in each province but collectively as a soceity, we have very low standards and morals. Corruption is only bad when it directly impacts you. Most people don't have any problem with benefiting from corruption. This is the key difference between developed nations and 3rd world countries like Pakistan. The politicians are just a reflection of the society.

Asif Zardari, Nawaz sharif have been convicted, proven criminals and been let off the hook over and over again. You can get away with pretty much anything depending on where you stand on the power spectrum. Throughout the history of Pakistan, there has been one constant, the establishment, and they continue to dictate every aspect of the society - economical, religious, cultural, social etc etc. Zardari and Nawaz are just small fishes in a big pond. They have mastered the art of self preservation finding control even when the odds don't favour them.

Pakistan today is one of the worst places for human rights, freedom of judiciary and rule of law. There's a drastic decline in moral standards as more and more people continue to leave the country. Hypocrties like you can only preach while sitting comfy in abroad countries.

Seasoned politicians of a 3rd world country, living abroad amassing crazy wealth also happen to be corrupt. Shock and horror!!!

Great post. After years of just looking at the losers like AZ and NS, we forgot or never realised that the organ grinder( the Generals) created a system to stay in power by throwing the monkeys the bananas at different times. Today we sit as one of the most corrupt countries on earth and all the mafia in total control.

@emranabbas

Please make me look like an idiot and explain the AZ and NS cases and jailings of each other and their respective families. If the cases were fake from both sides then both have committed crimes and if they were real then why arent they both in jail for corruption. My little brain is very confused and I need your renowned intellect to take a minute to explain this.🤣🤣🤣

Ma sha Allah. Well done PTI workers who came out. The Test match has well and truly started now. Now let’s see.

I have no idea what you're talking about I haven’t confessed to anything. It seems like you’re struggling with basic reading comprehension.

Its not difficult. Two guys had each other locked up for, in one case 10 years. Both claimed the other was corrupt, so if there was no case and they victimised each other by illegal imprisonment, why are they not in prison for their criminality. So why the contradiction. I look forward to a detailed reply. If you want me to post the cases they got each imprisoned for, then I will do that.

I’m hearing the protest was a dud with PTI’s own workers and leaders failing to show up.

Is there any truth to it?

They wouldn't have imposed section 144 if that was the case. They are scared of the public and the only weapon is fake cases and violence.
This is an 80 Yr old women. This is a mother and grandmother and This is how they treat her.
@emranabbas

[19:64] We only descend by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs whatever is before us, and whatever is behind us, and everything in between. And your Lord is not the One who forgets.
