Those monitoring police scanners say the suspect is called Robert Bowers - who, if you look at his social media posts, is a far right nutter.

Bearing the fruits of rise in Caucasian Christian terrorism mostly due to misinformation spread by FOX news and other far right media to solidify inherited bigoted ideology of these individuals and Trump jumping on the opportunity to create support for himself by the same group to become a President.

Unfortunately it seems this isn’t the end of it.

America is going off the deep end.

And what a surprise - another far-right terrorist who has been emboldened by an Administration that has egged on these extremists.

This isn’t terrorism on the news .

RIP to the victims . Sad news

This isn’t terrorism on the news .

RIP to the victims . Sad news

This week we have seen a far-right terrorist send letter bombs to Democratic leaders including two former Presidents, George Soros who is the far-right's bogeyman and subject of many online conspiracy theories, a racist kill two black people in Kentucky and now an anti-semite killing eight innocents in a synagogue shouting "death to Jews" with a social media history of far-right beliefs.

Yet there'll be conservative pundits (and even people on here) who'll try to "both sides" this and create a false equivalency with left-wing groups.

These same hypocrites including the far-right appeaser in the White House will immediately talk about Muslim travel bans in the wake of a jihadist attack yet are now saying on Twitter that people "shouldn't play politics" - sick !

They will tell us it was a "lone gunman". Had it been a Muslim he would have been a "terrorist". He made strong anti-Semitic comments before shooting. More then 7 have beeen killed.

Sadly, this sort of thing is becoming normal in America. And Trump seems to think more guns is the answer.

11 dead. In their place of worship. On their day of Sabbath. Killed by a stranger, a maniac, a bigot, simply because they were of a different faith to him. May their souls rest in peace. Condolences to their loved ones.

RIP to the victims.

This is a result of pandering to and entertaining fascism in the mainstream society.

Just when you think news of gun crime in the states can’t shock you anymore something like this happens.
RIP to those that lost their lives and condolences to the families, friends and fellow worshippers who were affected by this heinous act..

He is white hence no mention of the word "terrorism" which is only reserved for ppl of color specially brown.

Guns ain’t the issue. We don’t have guns here in the uk but we do have a knife crime epidemic.

A man suspected of killing 11 people in a synagogue in Pittsburgh has been charged with murder - in what is believed to be the worst anti-Semitic attack in recent US history.

Robert Bowers, 46, is accused of opening fire at the Tree of Life synagogue during its Sabbath service.

He faces 29 criminal counts, including use of a firearm to commit murder.

Federal prosecutors say they will also file hate crime charges, and the suspect could face the death penalty.

President Donald Trump described the attack as a "wicked act of mass murder".

Six people - including four police officers - were injured in Saturday's attack.

The suspect was also wounded in a shootout with police

RIP to the deceased, condolences and prayers for all affected by this terrible tragedy. Is this killer now a mentally unstable lone gunman or dangerous evil terrorist?

If the attack had a political motive, it is terrorism.

This is what you get after decades of decades of shock jocks, conspiracy theories, hyper-partisan politics and now Trump. It’s the death of civility in American political discourse.

Anti semitism is very old, not fair to blame Trump for it. even the british icon shakespeare demonised them.

Horrendous. Clearly Nazism is not dead.

This guy was a loon. The more organised white supremacists have the sense to target Muslims instead which would never have brought the negative headlines this act has done. What an idiot.

I do blame the shocks jocks and proto-fascists such as Trump for the resurgence of this scourge.

Trump is very pro-Israel and has usually been quite friendly towards Judaism, disagree that he is to blame at all for this incident.

What makes Trump a fascist?

Proto-fascist.

Populism, demonisation of minorities, attacks on press freedom, accusing others of that which he is guilty, straight out of the Mussolini playbook.

Gave comfort to Nazis, called them very fine people.

LOL. fascist is the political swear word of choice by the pseudo liberals when they want to demonize someone. a democratically elected trump who is not politically correct and airs his views as he sees it is enough reason to compare him with a mass murdering dictator who killed in thousands?

Trump is very pro-Israel and has usually been quite friendly towards Judaism, disagree that he is to blame at all for this incident.

He's not friendly towards Judaism the religion, but Jews the people ("race" as we used to say before WWII), considering that the latter have a major role in the Christian apocalypse Evangelicals like him believe in, basically being the sacrificial lambs which must all be in the lands of ancient Israel (way bigger than the current borders of Israel) so that the Messiah can come back to kill off/enslave 99% of humanity.

Acts like this help Zionists like Trump or Bibi : for the former, it pushes the Jews to join Israel, and for the latter, it's a proof that Jews will always be a foreign ethno-religious minority in Europe/West, and their redemption lies in Zionism.

I condemn this act of terror against peaceful jewish people minding their own business. Trump administrstion and its media stooge, the fox news have been promoting the narrative that Soros (a jewi) is funding middle eastern refugee people to invade America. Hence this white supremacist attacked jews to send across a message. Pathetic irresponsible behaviour by Trump and now innocent people lost their lives because of it. All of the victims were 70+ years of age and hence it makes the scenario even more sad.

Trump is very pro-Israel and has usually been quite friendly towards Judaism, disagree that he is to blame at all for this incident.

Trump is pro-himself as long as gets the applause and ratings.

To argue against Trump is like arguing against Brexiters.
You get labeled a liberal or leftie and readers of fake news.

The day a Trump supporter can actually defend his behaviour with counter arguments will be the day I may come back here, and by arguments I'm not referring to the "we finally have someone who speaks the truth" nonsense.

This is cute. For years the self proclaimed liberals used to mock and demean us right wingers by calling us extremists, supremacists, fascists, misogynists and idiots with bad grammer . Now we have learnt their trick and paying them back with labels like anti nationals, traitors and liberal fascists. How does it feel?

Well that question should be addressed to someone else.
I don't label myself as a Liberal. In fact when I was supporting IK in the elections I was being labelled as an Army / deep state sympathisers y the liberals.

All I want to do is to argue on the facts.

In this instance we have a President making statements where he sympathises with "both sides", attends rallies where he mocks the press and instigates violence against democrats, calling them evil and what not.

This is what I see and read, this is fabricated by the Liberal/Left wing media?

Like someone once said, ‘we are so busy attacking left wing and right wing that we have forgotten that both are part of the same bird’.

I'm calling you out here Robert.

The historic tax cut spearheaded by Trump and advised by my friend Larry Kudlow has not only stimulated remarkable growth, investment and record low unemployment, but has also garnered widespread support, with more than 60 percent of respondents to a recent poll by Frank Luntz anticipating an overall positive effect on the economy. It is time to call this economy and the attendant optimism what it is: the Trump boom.

So who benefits? That is where it gets really interesting. A 2017 survey by the Kauffman Foundation found that 24 percent of new entrepreneurs were Hispanic, 9 percent were African American, and 7.5 percent were Asian. Just over 40 percent of new businesses were formed by minorities. This past quarter, 18 percent of small business owners said they were adding staff. Finally, 65 percent of women small business owners expect higher revenues in the next year, compared to 61 percent of men.

Trump has made opportunity, entrepreneurship and wealth creation both possible and appealing again. Consumers are buying and wages are rising. America is getting back to work. Trump promised to roll back 22 regulations for every new regulation, and he is making good on that.
https://thehill.com/opinion/finance/393803-trump-boom-ignites-small-business

The shrill coming from the left is that Trump hates minorities but he met with them and found out what was required to help them prosper, this is the exact opposite of what a fascist would do.

Red tape in America has risen precipitously over the past 30 years. Based on cost analyses prepared by regulators, the Obama Administration alone added over $120 billion in additional regulatory burdens imposed on Americans each year. In contrast, President George W. Bush added $68 billion during his tenure. A major goal of the Trump Administration is to reverse this trend: not just to slow the increase, but to decrease the total burden of regulation on Americans.

This goal is implicit in one of Trump’s first executive orders as chief executive, Executive Order 13,771, which directs agencies to identify for repeal at least two existing regulations for every new regulation that they promulgate. The White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, now under the energetic leadership of former law professor Neomi Rao, reads into this a broader injunction to eliminate more regulatory burdens than are created for each new rule.

Such a target is ambitious. No net rollback of red tape has been seen since President Ronald Reagan’s second year in the White House a generation ago. Yet, the betting in Washington is that the Trump Administration can pull it off.

Trump is removing red tape within the government and freeing up not only business but also the media, once again this is the exact opposite of fascism.

Obama spent millions stopping freedom of information access compared to Trump spending nothing.

If you dont respond or counter this then it will confirm that you accept that Trump is actually the opposite of a fascist.

Sheikh Mohammad did great things for Dubai's economy, Mao did great things for China, Erdogan did great things for Turkey yet all these guys are guilty of doing terrible things to their own people.

the french revolutionaries (standing for values like liberty equality and fraternity) did horrible things during the revolution. some blood shed is inevitable and human rights don't matter when it comes to the greater good. but how is that related to Trump, what terrible things has he done?

Trump may not be racist (history says otherwise) but every racist believes he is a racist who would make America white, again.

After world war 2, America became the most powerful nation but it had one huge problem, racism and discrimination against minority. Making money doesn’t justify and one shouldn’t overlook his hate filled rhetoric, lies and bigoted behavior.

Trump is not racist (history proves it) and many paranoid left leaning whackos thinks he wants to make America white again.

Probably just a coincidence that his former right hand man Steve Bannon is touring European countries stoking the same anti-immigration sentiments there. I wonder what the correlation is with both USA and European immigration concerns, considering that Bannon and Trump's own lineage comes from immigration to America?

Trump is not against immigration into the US, he is against illegal immigration. Some people just dont get there is a difference between people applying for immigration and people entering illegally.

Trump is not against immigration into the US, he is against illegal immigration. Some people just dont get there is a difference between people applying for immigration and people entering illegally.

Trump is opposed to birthright citizenship, chain migration (despite his in laws benefiting from it) and the visa lottery which is nearly all of legal immigration.

So tell me again how he's just going after illegals.

One either must live under a rock not to see any evidence of Trump's racism, or they don't want to see it.

He failed to unequivocally condemn the white supremacists who marched in Charlottesville by claiming there were "very fine people" on both sides. These marchers were chanting slogans like "the Jews will not replace us".

After Judge Gonzalo Curiel ruled against the scam that is Trump University - Trump claimed he was biased due to his "Mexican heritage". Curiel was born IN the United States. Then there was the Birther movement Trump spearheaded, claiming President Obama was not born in the United States. Even when Obama released the long form birth certificate, Trump kept peddling this racist lie.

I'm not close to being done yet. Trump treated black employees at his casinos differently from whites, according to multiple sources.

A former hotel executive said Trump criticized a black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks.”

What about the Central Park Five ? Let me enlighten you my Australian friend. Here we had five black and Latino kids WRONGLY jailed for the rape of a jogger in NYC in 1989. In 2002 DNA evidence exonerated them. Yet Trump who called for their execution, CONTINUED to claim they were guilty.

It is really difficult to prove if a politician is a racist or not because people get to elect them but Trump may not be racist but every racist believe Trump is racist and that is why they voted for him because they want to make America white again, get rid of Jews and Muslims.

Everyone politician is against illegal immigration.

Name one politician who has endorse illegal immigration?

Everyone understand the difference between illegal and legal immigration.

And most understand that racists who wants to make America white again love Trump.

That Trump’s reforms have been taken advantage of by minority entrepreneurs does not make Trump anti-fascist.

I now believe Trump to be a convenient frontman for a growing fascist movement in the USA which is being propagated in Europe by certain Americans with Kremlin links. They seek a white ethnostate and are deeply Islamophobic and antiSemitic.

The demonisation of Others (race, religion, the disabled) the support for Nazis, the sexual self-aggrandisement, the protectionism, the assault on free press - this is all textbook fascism.

Ah yes, the good old days before political correctness - when there was rampant racism.

Those darned pseudo liberals with their silly ideas like freedom of the press and civil rights.

Hitler was elected and so was Trump. You have clearly proved Trump is a fascist. I have no counter to that argument.

Hitler became the leader of the largest party, in a hung parliament that could not be settled after numerous national votes - and then when his ailing Head of State finally died, Hitler immediately combined Hindenburg’s presidency with his own chancellorship into the single Fuhrer position - after which he seized total control of Germany and created the Hitler Oath, an undying swearing of allegiance to one apparently godlike person.

I’m not sure that is the same kind of “democratically elected” as Trump comfortably winning the US electoral college vote and his direct opponent formally conceding defeat to him.

dude you don't even live here so stop spreading fake news. Black people are fed up with trump , in fact in last years congress election it was african americans that helped unseat pedo Roy moore from Alabama which is a tradionally republican state. Only like a third of Black people approve of trump.

He's against legal immigration of non white people, he wants to rig the immigration system in favor of white people and against non whites like how it was prior to the 1960s, Australia also had something like the "white australia" policy, that isn't even legal it's just a monopoly against people that aren't caucasian.

Sorry mate but I'm a bit confused here, this is from your link

"Today's @realDonaldTrump approval ratings among black voters: 36%," Rasmussen said in a tweet. "This day last year: 19%."
That is a staggeringly high number for a man who only won 8 percent of the African-American vote in 2016.

When elected he got 8% of the black vote, last year 19% of black voters approved of him and this year 36% of black voters approve of him and thats because they are fed up with him.

I would expect his approval rating to go down if they were fed up with him, have I got it wrong?.

Do you know how people are supposed to seek asylum?

Sure, we have that law in this country too. Your place of birth determines your nationality and therefore protects you. Taking away this right will lead to a re-whitening if America - whites will become a minority in the USA by 2044 given current laws and demographic trends, I believe.

Let us hope that the US Consitution and liberal institutions are more robust than those of Weimar Germany.

They are.

Weimar Germany was financially crippled and emotionally distraught due to the inhuman levels of bankruptcy and grossly unnecessary degree of humiliation that Britain, France and the US had inflicted upon it after the loss of the Great War.

In this environment - not that it’s an excuse for the willingly accepted mass brainwashing of the German people into quickly committing themselves to a horrifically racist and hyper-Darwinian view of humanity - they were supremely ripe for the picking, that too by a politically astute and opportunistic Austrian fascist who was brilliant at public speaking.

I see these Trump / Hitler and Trump’s America / Hitler’s Germany comparisons on Twitter all of the time. I know you aren’t seriously backing these ideas, which is good because they are so wildly off the mark, completely over the top and totally ahistorical.

UK does not have birthright/jus soli citizenship, it is more restricted:
Since 1 January 1983, at least one parent must be a British citizen or be legally "settled" in the country or upon the 10th birthday of the child regardless of their parent's citizenship status.

Do you know how people are supposed to seek asylum?

Yes I do, at the first country border they reach they declare that they are refugees and seek asylum, they are then processed. Crossing a border without presenting yourself is illegal.

You need to brush up on the laws in your own country.

Robert Bowers, the alleged gunman accused of killing 11 Jewish worshippers at a Pittsburgh synagogue on Saturday has pleaded not guilty.

Mr Bowers, 46, has requested a jury trial, US media reported on Thursday.

He faces 44 counts of murder, hate crimes, obstructing religious practices and other crimes. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

Authorities called the attack on the Tree of Life synagogue the worst anti-Semitic incident in US history.

In addition to those killed, six people were injured, including four police officers, before Mr Bowers surrendered to law enforcement.

What charges does he face?

US media reported Mr Bowers entered the courtroom without a wheelchair, bandaged on the arm from the injuries suffered during a shootout with police on Saturday.

Mr Bowers confirmed he had read the indictment and understood the charges against him. He reportedly had no reaction when told he faced the death penalty.

The federal indictment alleges Mr Bowers walked into the synagogue with multiple firearms, ranted about wanting to "kill Jews" and then began gunning down worshippers, as well as firing on police when they arrived.

During his first court appearance, Mr Bowers was in a wheelchair and spoke little.

On Wednesday, US prosecutors added a further 15 charges to the 29 Mr Bowers already faces, making a total of 44.

The additional counts against Mr Bowers were for assaulting police officers and also included special findings to support the case for pursuing the death penalty, US media reported.

According to an affidavit, Mr Bowers told police immediately after his arrest that "he wanted all Jews to die".

Social media accounts purported to be Mr Bowers' also featured anti-Semitic slurs and anti-immigrant sentiments, including a post saying "I can't sit by and watch…Screw your optics, I'm going in," that was uploaded just before the shooting.

The charges Mr Bowers faces are:

11 counts of obstructing free exercise of religious beliefs, resulting in death
11 counts of using a firearm to commit murder
11 counts of use of a firearm during a crime of violence
8 counts of obstructing free exercise of religious beliefs involving an attempt to kill a public safety officer
2 counts of obstructing free exercise of religious beliefs involving an attempt to kill
1 count of obstructing free exercise of religious beliefs with a dangerous weapon resulting in injury to an officer

Oh, I don’t think he will set up a continent-wide industrial murder system or start any world wars. He won’t have time anyway, and Americans have it too good.

But he has shown contempt for the liberal international institutions which the USA helped set up in the 1950s, for the judiciary and the press and the intellectuals, a willingness to cozy up to the kleptocrats of the Kremlin, and life will be harder and more dangerous for the Other in his nation.

From Trump's former 'fixer', Michael Cohen, the man who used to say he'd take a bullet for Trump.

Donald Trump’s recently convicted former lawyer, and increasingly disloyal one-time confidant Michael Cohen told Vanity Fair that Trump “repeatedly used racist language before his presidency”.

Some of the highlights (lowlights)?

* “[Trump] said to me: ‘Name one country run by a black person that ’s not a ********, ’ and then he added: ‘Name one city, ’ ” Cohen recalled, a statement that echoed the president ’s alleged comments about African nations earlier this year.

* “I told Trump that the rally looked vanilla on television. Trump responded: ‘That ’s because black people are too stupid to vote for me. ’ ”

* “We were going from the airport to the hotel, and we drove through what looked like a rougher neighborhood. Trump made a comment to me, saying that only the blacks could live like this.

* Regarding a contestant on his show The Apprentice: “He said: ‘There ’s no way I can let this black f-g win. ’ ”

From Trump's former 'fixer', Michael Cohen, the man who used to say he'd take a bullet for Trump.

So yeah, Trump's not racist.

Bit of a problem with the character of your informant here, Cohen a democrat has called Trump racist after leaving the republican party to join the democrats. Cohen was happy working for Trump and had no problem with him being racist but as soon as the money dried up he had a problem.

A bit like Amorasa, she had all the tapes on Trump to prove he was racist, well that was until it was time to put up the evidence, has anyone seen Amorasa lately by the way.

Its up to you if you want to put your trust in these people, me personally I would take notice of Cohen if he had of made these statements before the money dried up and he changed political parties so there is no other motive for his claims.

Extreme right is on the rise across the world and Trump is leading the way.

Like I have said.

He may not be racist but, every racist believe he is a racist who would make America White, Again.

And if you do not believe what I have typed up, just have a conversation with someone who wear MAGA hat and proudly parade around with a confederate flag.

Or if you are unable to have a conversation with such individual, just 'youtube' it.

You can believe whatever you like. Cohen's made a plea deal, and pleaded guilty to lesser charges. But in return Cohen has to come clean with everything he knows, else the more serious charges will be back on the table again. That includes coming clean with all the fixing he's done for Trump over the years to make Trump's problems go away. And Cohen knows where all the bodies are buried. 'Cause he buried most of them himself.

So what is Trump guilty of and why has he not been charged with anything.

Got it, you have friends who aren’t white. Lol

Yes plenty of non white friends, in my culture we mix with other races, cultures, religions and accept all regardless of sexual orientation or beliefs.

Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller hasn't finished his report yet. If you've been following the news regarding his investigation, you'll have seen that he's slowly working up the chain.

It won't be long now before Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner is starts to make plea deals to save himself. Like I said Mueller is slowly working up the chairman towards the guy at the top, Trump.

Here is a list of just some of those around Trump who have been found guilty, or made plea deals, thus far.

) George Papadopoulos, former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser, was arrested in July 2017 and pleaded guilty last October to making false statements to the FBI. He got a 14-day sentence.

2) Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chair, was indicted on a total of 25 different counts by Mueller’s team, related mainly to his past work for Ukrainian politicians and his finances. He had two trials scheduled, and the first ended in a conviction on eight counts of financial crimes. To avert the second trial, Manafort struck a plea deal with Mueller in September 2018.

3) Rick Gates, a former Trump campaign aide and Manafort’s longtime junior business partner, was indicted on similar charges to Manafort. But in February he agreed to a plea deal with Mueller’s team, pleading guilty to just one false statements charge and one conspiracy charge.

4) Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, pleaded guilty last December to making false statements to the FBI..

5) Michael Cohen: Trump’s former lawyer pleaded guilty to 8 counts — tax and bank charges, related to his finances and taxi business, and campaign finance violations, related to hush money payments to women who alleged affairs with Donald Trump.
