Bangladesh is the worst among Pakistan, India and Bangladesh when it comes to minorities. In Pakistan, the minorities are also economically backward, mostly dalits and tribals so there is another angle to their oppression. In Bangladesh, they are also in middle class and keep a low profile in politics, yet they get attacked for who they are, despite having same language, ethnicity and even forefathers.
In India, there is equal opportunity for communal crimes. You will hear of a muslim getting lynched, and you will also hear of a muslim killing a hindu girl in broad daylight. You will see communal remarks from some hindu leader and you will see remarks by muslim leaders of eliminating hindus. This is what separates india from their eastern and western neighbours. You will not be able to find instances of hindus committing crimes against the majority in those countries. They are so subdued that they only are at the receiving end, despite keeping a low profile, and never challenging or provoking the majority.
