Prabhsimran Singh versus Mohammad Haris

Watched both of them in today's match.
Prabhsimran despite impressive numbers in domestic cricket never played for India but Haris despite having mediocre stats, has already played in ICC tournament.

Prabsimran was looking better than Haris in today's match, where Haris played a stupid shot to get out.

Do you frankly think, if Prabsimran was a Pakistani, he would been their batting superstar by now?
and, if Haris was Indian, he wouldn't have been played in a state team?

Unfortunately, I have to agree with this bit.

Haris was hyped too much but TBH, he is a nothing player when compared to any upcoming Indian talent.

Haris was rightly highly rated when he came onto the scene. The intent he showed during his first world cup also made him a fan favourite.

But he hasn't kicked on. I think based on his initial career at a young age and his obvious potential he would of course have been selected in Indian domestic cricket.

Prabhsimran ( what a beautiful name btw) is someone I haven't seen play but based on his stats if he played like this in Pakistan he would be in our team for sure.

Haris is gifted but seems very dumb and possibly overaged like a lot of Pakistani cricketers

Prabhsimran also looks like he is only Emerging Cup level.

Mohammad Hairs is just another version of Shahid Afridi who just doesnt want to use single bit of his brain while playing.. i really wonder sometimes that hw did he make it to the Pakistan cricket team.

Haris is a talented batsman but lacks match awareness and doesnt use his brain match, he tends to throw it away. In fact a lot of talented batsman from Pakistan tend to throw it out and lack match awareness so its nothing new

You will find such outliers everywhere. For example, a clown like Rahane played 195 matches for India including multiple ICC tournaments even though he didn’t have the ability to average 40 in any format.

Then you have KL Rahul who has played 53 Tests with an average of 33.

And India is one cricket nation that takes immense pride in its batting factory and yet rubbish batsmen like Rahane and Rahul have featured so prominently.

So I’m sure Haris would played in the IPL by now based on the above evidence.

So I’m sure Haris would played in the IPL by now based on the above evidence.

Rahane has definately underachieved a lot.. He was a good batsman in foreign conditions but poor against spin.
