Anyone's guess what could happen in Abu Dhabi.

What do you reckon?

Knowing Mickey Arthur,

It looks likely that they'll want to AVOID losing at every cost. So, will play it safe, make a road, and try to draw the test to save potential humiliation and a loss.

Had every chance to bat fast and get enough time to bowl them out, but they didn't.

Australians don't make the same mistakes twice, they will carry a lot of confidence into the next test. Pakistan failing to close the show is more or less a loss for them.

Would be interesting if Australia wins toss and bats first and make 500+ . How would Pakistan batting negotiate lyon !

Aus batting first would be curtains for us.

In any case, they did not want to go for the win from the start even in the first Test. Snails pace batting.

How would they dare doing that when the series is on the line?

Will play for a draw.

Aussies will be favourites

We have basically one bowler in Abbas and have to rely on Yasir to bowl 50 overs to get his wickets

Starc, Siddle and Lyon will definitely trouble our batters in the next match

If AUS win the toss then they will definitely win the match. As has been evident for many years now, Pak cannot handle pressure. And this current team is no different.

Australia win.
If Sarfraz remains our captain. Then NZ will also make history in Asia

People being pessimistic. Draw was disappointing here, but Tim Paine is right, Pakistan still outplayed Australia. A few more overs (which we should have got if we'd batted quicker), Pakistan would have won. And Pakistan declared both times.

Riaz out, Mir Hamza in. Imam is injured so someone has to come in for him, and I'd pick Fakhar. Only changes I'd make. We still should win it and we're still clearly favourites. Shouldn't get scared by one mediocre result, these are our conditions not Australia.

With Imam out. I'd say Pakistan's chances of winning are really slim. Hafeez needs to have another huge outing with the bat with a rather unreliable Imam replacement at the opening slot.

Azhar and Hafeez opening together. A nightmare come true.

Pakistan should win but that dumb captain with his pathetic tactics can cost another match. He really needs to be kicked out from the team.

Abu Dhabi: Senior batsman Azhar Ali admitted Pakistan will be under pressure of expectations in the second Test against Australia starting in Abu Dhabi from Tuesday.

Pakistan dominated much of the first Test in Dubai but failed to get the last two wickets as Australia finished at 362-8.

Set a daunting 462 runs Australia's fightback was led by opener Usman Khawaja's 141, ably assisted by Travis Head (72) and skipper Tim Paine (61 not out).

"I can't say if the pressure will be more on Pakistan or Australia but we are the home side and obviously people expect us to win and so there is pressure," said Azhar on Sunday.

"However, having said that these are favourable conditions for us and we have to make the most of it.

"Pressure is always different in every match and obviously this is a decider. Being the home team we have to win it and we will enter the field thinking that. We will look to play positive cricket and hopefully the result will go our way."

Pakistan will be forced to make a change after regular opener Imam-ul-Haq fractured his finger in the first Test and was ruled out, opening an option to bring Azhar as opener.

The 33-year-old held the opening spot since the Oval Test in England in August 2016 and struck a triple century against the West Indies in Dubai and a double hundred against Australia in Melbourne — both in 2016.

He went to his customary number three position for the two Tests against Sri Lanka last year and in last week's first Test against Australia.

Pakistan can also bring in limited over specialist Fakhar Zaman to play his first Test, despite a poor form in the Asia Cup scoring only 56 runs in five matches with two ducks.

Azhar said he will do it against for his team.

"When playing for Pakistan one has to be ready for everything," said Azhar. "I have always believed in that and whatever the team management decides or the captain decides, I will be ready to do that." Azhar admitted Pakistan players were disappointed at not winning the first Test.

"We are not disheartened but, yes, disappointed, obviously after dominating the Test match throughout and then not winning it," said Azhar, a veteran of 66 Tests.

"Unfortunately we couldn't win but I think we also have to give credit to the Australians as well as they showed resilience and kept fighting till the end." Azhar said he remains focused despite not in the best of form, managing only 95 runs in the last four Tests.

"A batman always wants to score runs and it doesn't feel nice when he doesn't score runs," said Azhar. "But the important thing is to stay focused and believe that once you get a good knock things will start rolling again.

Voted for Pakistan. However, if Australia win the toss and they have renshaw in as well, they have a damn good chance of winning the series.

Pakistan outplayed Aus in the last test. I see no reason to reverse this trend unless Aus wins the toss and scores big.

Aus batted really well to draw in 4th inning. I think Pakistan will either win or it will be a draw. Aus win is unlikely.

Pakistan is still the favorite. I would consider it a upset if Australia win.

Pakistan will win.
Just because Australia avoided defeat by skin of their teeth, doesn't mean they have upper hand now.

Pakistan should win because they are the better team in these conditions. Hope it is a thrilling match.

Whichever team wins toss and bats will win the match and series

High emotions will push people to vote for Australia, but this is not a ODI, the better team always wins and in these conditions the Pak team has far better skills than Australia.....

140 is lot of overs even on good tracks.
