1-1 it stands and to some the momentum is with Australia - but we all know India can bounce back with ease - so will Australia take the lead in the 3rd Test?

I still think India is the stronger of both teams.

I think India should take this. The pitch would suit our batsmen more. Our bowlers look in top form anyway.
Lyon is the major threat India need to be wary off. If India can nueter him they should be able to win. Hoping for a massive Indian crowd at the MCG!

Aussies on a roll now......

India seem flustered and the in-fighting won't help.

Think Aus have the momentum now. India need to play Agarwal- he can't do any worse than Vijay or Rahul.

I think sharma needs to be fiend for his stupid outburst. Especially in Australia they are going to milk it and divide the team. I think kohli should eradicate it and put his foot down.

I still think India will win the series.

If aus bats first
Aus : 398
Ind: 373
Aus: 262
Ind: 212 all out
If ind bats first
Ind: 384
Aus: 401
Ind:229
Aus: 213-7

65% India is favorite to win. Australian batting is still shaky and low on confidence.
In the 2010/11 Ashes, Australia bounced back to win in Perth on a pitch which helped them immensely, but in the next game at MCG they batted first in good conditions and we're bowled out for something like 87. And ended up loosing the Ashes 3-1.

With the batting still low on confidence and the pitches at MCG and SCG on the slower side, India should win. If they don't than this Indian team should really be ashamed of themselves!

Unfortunately it seems that these days the result of a test match is largely dependent on who wins the toss.

So I'll go with whichever team wins the toss.

Whoever bats first should win the game, if the pitch is a traditional Melbourne pitch. India are the stronger team on paper but Australia have momentum on their side. The toss should be the deciding factor.

If India wins the toss and bats first, odds
India - 99 Australia - 1
If it's other way around
Australia - 60 India - 40
Pretty disgusting to see that LUCK is playing the most important role in the result rather than the abilities of the teams .
I'd love India losing the toss and successfully chase any fourth innings total and throw the monkey of the back.
I mean it's wishful thinking but ...

Win the toss, put 300 or more runs on the board.. that's a game for you .

India to win. Even though this team management does it best to kill all hopes, I for a change feel we’ll win this one.

Head says India but heart wants the Aussies to win, naturally. I am gonna listen to my heart here.

An Australia win seems likely but do they have the consistency to maintain their momentum?

With Mitchel Marsh coming in, the Australian batting becomes a way bit better, Handscomb was a walking wicket. If, Australia bats first India can kiss goodbye to the series win.

India win, Aussies bowling cant carry the poor batting all series. Aussies weak batting will be exposed again in last two tests.

Aussie batting is bound to come good sooner or later... If they do then RIP India

There seems to be a lot of negative stuff going on in the indian camp.. as a neutral, i see all the negative feedback and doesnt look like everything is well there. They are still a much better team than australia on paper though...

India will win it spinners will big part. They'll Defo add spinners.

Kohli to hit another ton

Kohli scoring tons doesnt mean victory for india.. their problems are other batsmen and spinners not showing up or even getting picked or being fit. Without ashwin they cant win i am afraid.

Do or die for India - they miss this opportunity to get back in the series and Australia may run away with a series win by denying them a victory in the final Test

Aussies will win this test and Sydney test will be a draw.

Australia as they have been dominant in MCG.

For India to win, other batters gotta score runs as well. Pujara and Kohli have got hundred each but time for openers and Rahane to play big innings.

17 votes each for an Aus win and India win.

I have voted for India seeing as they have won the toss
