I guess at the time of her seperation and due to her massive star profile, the vast majority of the world would side with the Princess of hearts. Diana was so well appreciated all across the globe, and not many would know the inner details of her troubled marriage with Charles. Recently though, after doing a fair bit of research I am of the opinion that Diana was no saint herself. It became evident at the time that the royal marriage was haunted by the presence of a second woman. Charle's and his infidelity became manifest. In such a case, it could be argued that Diana's affairs with various men during her marriage are only fair considering Charles was unfaithful. Another argument is brought to the front is that of Diana's mental state, her star prowess and celebrity became a major deterrent in her wedding. Charles always saw Camila as the more sane and understanding of the two, and the argument that Charles was not seeing more than one woman as compared to Diana, who then went on a tirade of men to take revenge on Charles.
Its all too complicated, its all too sad tbh. I admired Diana as a kid, not sure if I truly admire her now. Thoughts?
