I’m not the one applying to became a citizen.
how did you come to the conclusion that I'm?
Simple advice . When you’re at the citizenship interview, don’t tell them you’re willing to fight for India against Canada . Good luck and Jai Canedaa
you'll be a good fit my pick in this thread

you evaded the original question.

Not an American but I do have dual nationality.

1. Being an American and being against the drone strikes in Pakistan doesn’t make you anti-American.

2. The OBL raid was an embarrassment for Pakistan, however sure most Pakistani’s would’ve been happy that the leader of AlQ was eliminated.

Correct.

These low-IQ sanghis think all citizens need to support all government actions no matter what (even if government does bad things).

A free citizen can support aspects of a government just like he can oppose aspects of the same government.

I guess it is a concept too hard for sanghis to understand due to their low intellect. :inti

Most Pakistanis don’t accept OBL was in Pakistan.

I do think Pakistani posters always to say their faith is the only thing matters but clearly Pakistanis are most nationalistic bunch in South Asia second at best to Nepalis, many point that Indian atheists are confused but I think Pakistani British posters are massively confused as well, if they weren’t there wouldn’t be huge Pakistani independence day rallies in UK from second third generation.

People have the right to be against the poor foreign policy decisions their countries take. It doesn’t make them traitors to their country. However, if Pakistan is committing a genocide like Israel is against the Palestinians or the RSF is against its own people in Sudan, I would fully support a military intervention by Britain and would be proud of it to save lives.

Quite a few Americans believe the Apollo lunar missions were faked as well despite the overwhelming evidence suggesting that it did indeed happen. So?
You just proved my point. A lot of people from around the world have conspiracy theories. So?

What about obl videos saying he was responsible for the attacks? Was he lying?
I’m not the one who doesn’t believe in OBL carrying out 9/11. I said a lot of Americans don’t either.

To single out Muslims or Pakistanis for conspiracy theories is dumb because the rest of the world also believes in conspiracy theories. It’s not an exclusive Pakistani trait.

These sanghis are not very informed. They prove it time after time. :inti

They should check this out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9/11_truth_movement

Provide the stats. I would like to see all Americans who believe 9/11 was a conspiracy theory and the same for Pakistanis.
Is it just about 9/11? What about OBL killing, Mumbai Attacks, cricket matches/tournaments? Everything is a conspiracy according to Pakistanis.

Care to tell us about YouGov and their credibility?
We dont know who they called , which loony toon answered and have they answered or not . Its like they want to push a propaganda and put some stats around it.If obl proudly says he has done and it came from the horse's mouth in the video released by him, all the passionate fans hogs to some screwjack survey which dont mention anything. Its like calling a random guy and saying xyz will be the next pm for next 50 years.

Abolishing dual citizenship is a good move, as it will also apply to many top generals, politicians, and bureaucrats.

Many (though not all) dual Pakistani nationals are among the worst people on earth, for sure.

You have lost all credibility here. You made a post that Pakistanis are conspiracy theorists without evidence and then I gave you evidence that more Indians believed that the US government had a hand in 9/11.

Stop making generalisations about a whole population. Provide your evidence and statistics. Do you honestly believe that Indians or Argentinians or Ugandan or Japanese, etc. don’t fall for conspiracy theories. We are living in a digital world where people get stuck in YouTube echo chambers and start believing in ridiculous things, such as flat earth. Stop singling out Pakistanis when everyone falls for conspiracy theories. Pakistanis are no exception here.

That’s how polls work. If you are discrediting a poll done by a reputable institution then let’s disregard all polls.

There will always be idiots who believe in stupid whether Pakistani or Indian or anyone else.

Agreed.

There are conspiracy theory nuts world wide. Pakistanis, though are particularly susceptible to conspiracy theories on Bin Laden - Pakistan Polls and Bin Laden: 66% say US forces didn’t kill him

From the above YouGov poll

- Less than a quarter of Pakistanis think Bin Laden authorised the 9/11 attacks
- As the headline says, 66% believe he wasn't killed in the raid on Abbottabad

Pakistanis are in good(?) company but they seem to stand out in this particular belief

That's the sanghi speciality. They disregard what doesn't suit them (even if it is from a legitimate source) and accept what suits them.

They are comically stupid. :inti

Even moon landing has enough conspiracies. Only a good agenda driven pollster have to know whom to target for his stats. Every country have enough loonies to support nutcase ideas.

I am surprised to see Mexico that high on 9/11

But I am also surprised that so many people think the US government as paragons of truth on the Bin Laden incident.

The reality is that we can either believe the white house at face value, or not.

I have a feeling that if this incident had happened anywhere but Pakistan, and similar evidence was presented, Indians would be very suspicious of it too.

If the US government is covering up anything, it's incredible incompetence. Most of that incompetence has now been fully exposed by multiple whistleblowers and investigations - ignoring multiple warnings, poor security check procedures etc.

If the "very suspicious" feeling you're referring to pertains to actual involvement of the government, I'm afraid that's venturing into cloud cuckoo land - whether that's a Pakistani, Mexican, Indian or indeed an American.

I fully agree that we can't believe the White House or indeed any national government on everything. However, we can trust them to be utterly useless at maintaining long term coverups. In today's world, almost everything gets exposed. Lies like the WMDs in Iraq come out in politically driven investigations, books, podcasts etc. etc. Incompetency and a tendency to gloat is our best defense against the supposed secret cabal that's controlling the world.

I don't think it's a secret cabal and sorry I meant very suspicious of the OBL killing not 9/11. Seymour Hersh covered it quite well, and he was quickly put down. Up until that point he was quite respected as a journalist too.

Many Pakistanis at the time too felt that something took place between the ISI and the Americans. The situation worked out well for both sides, Americans got to blame ISI for a double game, Pak military got to show the hardliners internally that they had hidden Bin Laden from years and weren't under the control of the Americans.

Honestly, the OBL killing conspiracy makes a lot more sense than anything else. I don't think believing a cover up makes anyone more cuckoo than believing the Americans got him and threw him into the sea.

Nah...I admit it's tempting to theorise there but I personally am fairly convinced.

It would take a lot of people (hundreds?) to be involved in this conspiracy and be willing to keep their mouths shut. Weighed against the level of publicity and fame a whistleblower would get, I find it tough to believe everybody has agreed to keep mum. Seymour Hersh's theory is interesting but unlike his better stories - e.g. My Lai and Guantanamo, he didn't provide any corroboration. Also from what I remember, the theory only differs in the level of credit to be given to the US government. It actually claims Pakistan kept Osama safe for years and only gave him up when he was useless.

What finally convinces me is Trump. Trump would be ecstatic to take credit away from one of the guys he hates most - Obama. If he could reveal that Osama was dead for ages or had been gifted to the US by Pakistan and the raid was a sham, he'd jump at the opportunity and damn the embarrassment to the US.
