The race for the Champions League trophy is heating up, with only four teams remaining in the competition: Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, and Inter Milan. I think Arsenal have emerged as the slight favorites after their stunning 3-0 first-leg victory over Real Madrid.

If Arsenal and Barcelona advance, we could see a 2006 final rematch, with Barça seeking revenge for their loss to the Gunners. However, PSG’s momentum and Inter’s resilience mean this could be the most unpredictable UCL climax in years.

So, who do you think will lift the coveted trophy? Is it a seasoned giant with a legacy of success, or will a dark horse emerge to stun the world?

As a fan of Total Football. Hoping, One of Barcelona or PSG prevail. Modern day football is championing the static fitness freaks over, finesse, artistry , and Geniuses.

Some predictions and analyses are saying that Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are the frontrunners to win the 2025 UEFA Champions League.

What do you think??? @Amjid Javed

A lot of people writing inter Milan off as though Barca are going to waltz through them.

This inter side has experience of making CL final before, very strong defensively as well. Barca look amazing going forward but look vunerable at the back.

So it will be an interesting 2 legs. Alot of people acting like Inter beating Bayern was a shock, it wasn't.

In cup competitions if you don't concede many goals and have a gun man upfront you have a chance of winning Trophy.

The winner of this tie would be favourites to win the CL.

I totally haven’t followed football in a long time. From being a big time fan once, I gradually moved away from it and started following the NBA more closely. I remember back in the day Football meant something else. It’s admiration as an art and as a team sport. Last decade it’s all been about individuals, wealth, WAGs etc and pure football took a backseat i felt.

Back in the day among all these teams, Inter was the one I admired the most. Hope they win it.

I think it will be a repeat of the 2006 CL final.

Arsenal v Barcelona would be some final.

I agree with Amjid, you cannot write off Inter. They are more than capable of beating Barca even though they won’t start as favourites.

It will be Arsenal vs PSG tomorrow

Semi-Final Leg 1 of 2.

Which team is gonna win??

I think inter will beat PSG in final

Being a year for trophy drought winners, it appears to be PSG. Although otherwise Inter Milan had a better side.

Inter are way to negative. Hope it's not a stage fright for being in the Final. But full credit to Psg, who have started very positive

PSG look very fluid back to front. Inter players keep giving ball away in silly positions and PSG are finding so much space on transition. This could easily end 4 or 5 for PSG as inter push for a goal. Probably inters worst performance of entire campaign so far

Agree. Psg could have killed the Game off to be honest. 2-0 Flattens inter, it could be alot worse

Congratulations to PSG, they have done something for which the wasted millions and millions on likes of Neymar, Messi etc
Just shows that it's better to play as a team collectively at times. Then have just star names.

Luis Enrique winning CL with his 2nd different club. He's a quality manager

Who would have though if you buy players in a January TW you can transform your team.

While other clubs threw towel in january

Psg have really upped the Anti tonight. A complete footballing masterclass. Full credit to Luis Enrique for instilling real discipline in to the team.

Inter under Mourinho was a beast in final and today their side looked shell shocked
The early goal knocked stuffing out of them.

This is worst inter have played all season.

At same time PSG seem to go up a level tonight.

They looked so poor in group stages, but regrouped in January.

Just goes to show its always about what you do at pressure end of tournament, as long as you make it into knockouts you have a chance

You had certain posters on here getting excited after beating sporting Lisbon in knock outs.

Inter relied on counterattacks and porous defense to help them out.

They got neither today.

Paris St-Germain's brilliant teenager Desire Doue delivered an inspired display as they delivered a masterclass to thrash Inter Milan in Munich and win the Champions League for the first time.

The 19-year-old confirmed his status as one of the game's new young superstars as Luis Enrique's side capped a brilliant campaign by sweeping Inter aside in a blaze of attacking football.

Doue helped PSG on their way to history by setting up Achraf Hakimi for a simple finish after 12 minutes, adding the second eight minutes later with a shot that deflected off Inter defender Federico Dimarco.

Luis Enrique, who becomes only the sixth coach to win this tournament with two different clubs after his 2015 triumph with Barcelona, saw his thrilling team pick Inter apart. Any doubt about the outcome was removed when PSG got the third goal their performance deserved after 63 minutes.

Ousmane Dembele's flick released Vitinha, who played in Doue for a composed finish as he became, at 19 years and 362 days, only the third teenager to score in a Champions League final - after Patrick Kluivert for Ajax in 1995 and Carlos Alberto for Porto in 2004.

PSG were outclassing Inter in devastating style, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia running clear to beat Yann Sommer, to send Luis Enrique running down the touchline in a dance of ecstasy.

The agony was not over for Inter, who lost to Manchester City in the 2023 final. PSG substitute Senny Mayulu, himself still only 19, became the fourth teenager to score in a Champions League final, adding a fifth goal four minutes from time.

PSG deliver display for the ages

Paris St-Germain delivered one of the great performances in Champions League history as Luis Enrique's brilliant team gave the competition the winners it deserved.

As they grew into the Champions League, they cut a swathe through the Premier League elite - beating Manchester City, then knocked out Liverpool, Aston Villa and Aston Villa in the knockout stages.

PSG emerged as the best team in the competition. And it could not have been illustrated in more emphatic fashion as they ripped apart an experienced Inter Milan team from the first whistle, the contest effectively over when they established a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes.

They were relentless, torturing Inter with their passing and pressing, along with the sheer variety they possess in attack, led by the prodigious talent of Doue, named man of the match, and the young Georgian great Kvaratskhelia.

This was a stunning vindication of PSG's new strategy to move away from the superstar "bling bling" era of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe to a team ethic based on young, hungry players under Luis Enrique's brilliant guidance.

The Champions League had remained tantalisingly out of reach for PSG, but the curse has been broken by a magnificent side who look built to last.

Inzaghi has won 5 trophies as a manager.

Now have the Arteta fan boy making fun. But but Arteta got to semi final 🤡🤡. Even ten haag and Emery have got to CL semi finals

Same Arteta that hasn't won a trophy for 5 years ahd zero cup finals 🤣🤡

Inzaghi, Enrique and flick are all better managers then Arteta.

Arsenal will never get to a CL final with this clueless manager

What year for winners , Spurs, Newcastle , Palace and now PSG who haven't won their trophies before or a while ago are now silverware holders. . Good signs if this trend continues Arteta might win something for arsenal.

Bro. You confident Wirtz deal will be done?

Bro. You confident Wirtz deal will be done?

Yes bro , once a player agrees personal terms, visited and spoke to the manager, his club has little option to sell . Keeping an unhappy player while losing money makes no sense. It's a big price so takes detailed negotiations . Should be done in a few days imo

Despite Arteta's delusional nonsense about Arsenal being statistically the best team in the CL, it's obvious through watching the games that PSG are the most complete team in Europe. The numbers also reflect this as per FotMob - PSG are 1st for Expected Goals, 1st for Big Chances, 3rd for Shots on Target per match, 2nd for Clean Sheets and 3rd for Accurate Passes per match.

Their front three, even without a recognised #9, are a nightmare to defend against with their pace and dynamism. The midfield trio of Vitinha, Neves and Ruiz are outstanding at receiving and passing the ball under pressure, and work ferociously hard to regain possession when they lose it.

They've two of the best full backs in Europe in Hakimi and Mendes who are brilliant attacking outlets. Their stats show they're amongst the best ball carriers and progressive passers for their positions in Europe.

But the stat that ultimately matters is 5-0, and it could've been even worse. Inter were so bad in possession and defensively pulled apart time and again. PSG had tougher Ligue 1 matches this season. Don't like oil state owned clubs but congratulations to them and Luis Enrique who's created a proper team from what was a collection of big name individuals.

It is funny to see how the two resident Liverpool fans in this thread are obsessed with Arsenal & Arteta even though they have nothing to do with this thread. Just goes to show how Arsenal lives rent-free in their head.

Just their second league title in 35 years and they are acting as if they are the best team in the world 🤡

You need to worry about next season my friends. PGMOL will not be in your pocket every season and the egghead benefited from new manager bounce. His real test will come next season.

Ancelotti, Pellegrini and Conte all won the titles in their maiden seasons because others weren’t used to their tactics but they are struggled next season.

Also, your big club delusions were laid to rest by your very own product Trent rejecting you for Real Madrid, the same club that have made you cry in the UCL for years.

I do think Arteta took it too far with his comments after the semi-final loss, however I don't think it's as far fetched. Arsenal had the higher xG in both legs. But ultimately the only stat that matters is goals scored, so PSG were worthy finalists and winners.

Out goes the reel and in comes the carp !

Arteta's comment is relevant because he had the nerve to claim Arsenal were the best team in the CL after PSG gave his team a reality check in the semi-finals. He should publish those numbers because the facts show PSG top most of the metrics I listed.

The biggest tish tish to the face is Luis Enrique's comments after the Final :ROFLMAO:

As for the rest - don't concern yourselves with us. Arsenal fans trying to banter Liverpool is like a fat man giving weight loss advice. You have won four major honours in this nonsense artificial 35 year timespan, the last of which was 21 years ago, whereas we have won five including two CLs. In the last 20 years alone we've reached five CL finals while you guys are still weeping about Jens Lehmann and 2006.

Concern yourselves with the spot on comments this week from the man instrumental in that last major honour 21 years ago, and the best PL player I've ever watched (I'm not so blindly partisan to be ashamed to admit so).

Congrats to PSG, they richly deserved to win it. Enrique has performed a mini miracle to transform their fortunes after having finished 15th in the group stage. I don't think anyone would've seen this coming but the tide had clearly turned when they beat Liverpool in QFs.

This PSG team is scary because the squad is very young and has depth. The only area where they could improve on in the summer transfer window is bringing in a centre back.

Spare a thought for Mbappe. Leaves PSG and they win the quadruple, whilst his Madrid side go empty handed (not counting super cup and Intercontinental Cup).

Arteta said Arsenal were the best team in the competition and you have a poster of this guy in your room

Palace , Spurs and Chelsea won trophies . London has been successful except for ...

Season over now. Looking forward to netflix season 6 🤣

Henry is arguably Arsenal’s greatest ever player, but the reality is that he is a failed manager just like everyone else who sat next to him. I am not interested in the opinions of failed managers. It is easy to do armchair criticism but none of them are good enough to do half the job Arteta has done at Arsenal.

Cups provide momentarily joy. Chelsea and Spurs know that they still have their work cut out in the summer window and have to make major changes both in terms of personnel and team culture to fight for the league.

At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is how you fare in the league. It is a true litmus test of where the team stands. Arsenal have finished 2nd three seasons in a row which means they are very very close to glory and just need to find the extra 10% to get over the line.

If cups were the only thing that mattered, Ten Hag would still be at United and Wenger would have been never forced out of Arsenal. The reality is that league performance is the only thing that truly matters at the end of the day.

Speaking of ex Arsenal players, I hope the owners are monitoring the progress of Cesc Fabregas. I think he can be the best big thing in management.

Spain produces a lot of good managers because of their tactical approach to the game. Most of them are former midfielders like him.

He is also La Masia graduate who has worked with some of the most renowned managers in the game. It is not surprising that he is doing well.

In spite of having a minority share in Como, he is not going to stay for long. Big clubs are already sniffing around him and I think he can be a great long-term replacement for Arteta in a few years.

Agree. But you got to remember, Henry is a paid pundit, with constructive criticism being part of the Job.

The PL is first and CL is 2nd and sure these are the big two, way ahead of anything else, however when you're not winning these , winning cups is important as trophies give fans something to celebrate.

Henry won 2 PLs? He understands its tough to win but also realises a club like arsenal should be getting to finals to try to win something.

Where you finish in the league table reflects the relative strength of the team. You can’t say that finishing 2nd is the same as finishing 4th. It clearly isn’t.

In spite of Chelsea and Spurs picking up silverware, both are not even close to Arsenal in terms of competing for the league next season.

No sensible fan would swap finishing 2nd with finishing 17th + a Europa trophy.

As far as Chelsea is concerned, there isn’t daylight between them and Arsenal in terms of points but Arsenal are in a much better position to compete for the title next season.

In terms of what it means , 2nd and 5th are equally rewarded with CL . If you finished a point or two behind the champions your point would have more merit. City in its worst season in a decade only finished 3 points behind and reached a final .

A good challenge does usually help into the new season but Areta is under huge pressure to deliver now , he could crack badly as he has a very poor record of winning anything

🤣🤣 as expected the Arteta meat rider comes out with yet more pathetic defense for the loser manager. So Henry's so called opinion doesn't matter because he's a "failed manager"

Henry knows exactly what the principles of winning at a club like Arsenal is, that was instilled into him when he joined a dressing room with players that had won and had high standards

At the same time a manager who has not won a trophy for 5 seasons, zero cup finals is "doing a great job" because certain fans are happy with Arteta posters on the wall, their pants down and vasaline tubs out.

Arsenal were tactically out schooled in semi finsl and the managers weak mentality exposes as usual.

PSG made big signings in January. Whilst Arsenal threw the towel in.

Imagine being in CL semi final and your best hope of a goal is from corners or long throwing. The Stoke City football was exposed.

Also PSG just scrapping through group stage reinforced my point that, what you do in group stages is irrelevant as iong as you make it into the knockouts.

League stage football and knockout football is completely different. This is why certain fans shouldn't have got carried away with wins vs sporting Lisbon etc.. ultimately when it came to pressure end. Arsenal wilted again

Really happy Luis Enrique won CL, purely because of what happened to him losing his daughter to cancer a few years ago. He's been a top manager, sort of manager Arsenal need instead of the failed loser the club had currently had for 6 years

Areta believes it was bad luck. He said this after losing to Utd in FA cup, Newcastle semi final loss , CL loss, ,PL too. He summed it up by injuries , refs , best team but things didnt go their way. I can't recall him saying they weren't good enough to win anything. It's a worrying sign when a manager is not accepting liability and many of his fans use his arguments .

Damn boy!
PSG just did to their opponent what Bharat recently did to Pakistan lol.
That was a phainty bro 🤣😆

Henry is an owner of Como too. He spoke very highly of cesc on a podcast with Gary Neville and mentioned a lot of big clubs have started to show interest.

Two dead and hundreds arrested in France after PSG Champions League win

Two people have died and hundreds have been arrested across France after Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) fans celebrated the club's victory in the Champions League final, according to the French interior ministry.

In the south-west town of Dax, a 17-year-old boy died after being stabbed in the chest late on Saturday evening, local media reported.

A 23-year-old man who was riding a scooter in central Paris was also killed after being hit by a vehicle, the prosecutor's office said.

Flares and fireworks were set off, bus shelters smashed and cars torched amid wild celebrations as PSG won the biggest prize in European club football for the first time in their history.

Yes. Apparently Inter, Juventus and Atalanta have expressed interest in hiring him but I do think he will stay at Como for a couple of more seasons. He could land a job at one of his three former clubs in a few years - Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea.

🤣🤣 so Henry speaks highly of cesc and a certain zero knowledge ball merchant makes out that Henry's opinion is valid.

Yet when Henry called out Arteta, Henry's comments mean nothing as he's a "failed manager.

Yet again Arteta fan boy exposed exposed, for picking and choosing when ex players opinion have merit.
