PSL 2018 Eliminator 1: Peshawar Zalmi knock out Quetta Gladiators with 1-run win in thrilling finish

Rahat Ali making a great case for selection in national T20 squad

The Rahat showing PZ their place

#the last airbender :rahat

Wow rahat another wicket for him. Now 15 wickets for him in the tournament. Definitely one of the best pacer in this season. Very happy for him

PZs bowling & QG's batting depth should be sufficient to defend 150 here. Wicket is good for batting, but it's not a road; pacers will get bounce here. However, I am not sure how much dew should be today after rain.

Wahab+Hafeez to show all their anger against Sarfi... for kicking them out of team... mouth watering :akhtar

A gem from Dawson and if these two can score quickly, a score of 160 may be too much.

And over throws lol

Hahahahaha Alrounder Ali overthrows for four.... captain friendship aur khilao dost ko :))

Probably, Anwar will take the last over. Have to say, Sarfraz is poor in this game - haven't seen keeping, but he is allowing the game to run away.

As KK fan we would much rather play QG than PZ... so I'm rooting for friends XI

Yes, that is the only thing that has saved his job so far, although his contribution is highly questionable in my view. I do no think they will fall apart without Viv's show for the cameras.

He is there for publicity and marketing. PSL is starved off big names, they are happy to take anyone who is coming their way, no matter what role they fit into. I am surprised some of the other former legends have not jumped on the train yet.

A month long vacation in the UAE with a hefty paycheck and plenty of airtime on the camera. Not to mention the added perk of winning Pakistanis hearts by doing the "ehsaan" of touring Lahore and Karachi for a couple of days. It really is a dream job if you are a currently-unemployed legend of the game.

I mean even going by your perspective, the PSL and PCB have to face facts. In our current situation if this is the best we can get, then we have to go with it. I mean it's better than having no one? Sir Viv is a well-recognized name in world cricket. Having him there certainly doesn't hurt.

The fact that all players that have been asked about his presence there have nothing but positive things to say about him, which also in itself says something. I mean if anything, the Pakistani youngsters will learn from him. I think he does more then what meets the eyes. He probably does give useful tips/helps batsmen with technique/helps players learn how to deal with certain aspects of the game. Considering he has a great cricketing mind, this will only help young cricketers (heck might even help seasoned campaigners).

Ohh no Thisara bhai bowling last over. I remember the last time he bowled here

Don't want to QG to qualify because of Shafiq and Anwar but they have solidified their batting with Mahmudallah and Perrera.

This is 180 pitch, QG have a great Chance to play in the Final. Zalmi Sammy should have tried to bat the overs.

Slap on face of expert - Perara bowling

Good, you learned your lesson - didn't tag me.

Since I was who made the comment, I take the responsibility to clarify you. Sarfraz had 6 bowlers today, and he left the last over with an option of 2 pacers - one went for 21 & one for 14 in their only over in this game. And, finished his main pacers on 18th & 19th over - read it again and come back, we can discuss.

I want Zalmi in Final they can beat IU. KK are overated team with average cricketers like bopara are having luxury when someone from pakistan can have his spot and there is much better cricketer than him. Nothing against him though.

They have Mahmudullah and Perrera and they can hit good long shots.
Powerplay will be the key..

Both are coming after playing from different place, it often doesn't work for batsman. But, the target is indeed reachable on this wicket & size of boundary.

Quetta has a pretty weak batting, even with Peshawar's average bowling this may be challenge

Hasan Ali is going to take a lot of wickets in his career.
