PTI Government - 100 day agenda thread

Its been explained enough times on here by many of us, but the growth was fuelled by Imports( hence the BOP of crisis, exports 24bn, imports over 50bn) and borrowing- over $60bn in the last 10 years. Its akin to living a life of luxury on credit cards, and then blaming the unfortunate person trying to repay the billions for the credit card borrowing. In a nutshell PK has lived beyond its means and if the Nooras had won the election the facade would have only lasted so long, and thus the reason Munshi Dar run off.

K thanks for giving your reasoning.

Unfortunately it will be painful as the country resets to live within its means. You should be asking where did the $60bn go, why did the falooda walas have billions in their account, why is Hamza money laundering by using people that have never left the country? These Nooras and PPP are loyal to their pay masters and not to PK.

What a failure this turned out to be.

Especially the civil service reforms. After 3 years, they came up with a screening test..

Civil service is corrupt to the core and like the Police it can't be reformed. The Babus use the civil service as a personal cash cow and are willing abetters to the corruption of the PPP and the Nooras. The PTI as promised gave them freedom to work without interference and from many reports all they did was to increase the demand for bribes
. Ultimately this is a failure of IK because he has failed to clear up the mess left over decades in 3 years

Its the elite govt group. Civil service reforms were to be done by some reform comitittee set up by the govt itself.

PTI gave freedom? I know many civil servants who complained about the govt intereference in their daily.

Civil service reforms are not a huge problem that cannot be resolved

You may know some but ask people why the Civil Servants are more corrupt and asking for bigger bribes and they tell you that no one is there to take them to task- a good reform abused by these crooks. As I said IK has failed to fix this in 3 years, he should sacked these crooks and rehired. It's not as if they actually do anything. Whenever you go to the office, they are always on chutti or on lunch. It's a culture to fleece the poor.

BTW
If they aren't a problem why did the Nooras and PPP not fix them? Why does IK have to fix anything? Who created this monster?

My question is specifically for people who live in pakistan.

I remember there were slogans of naya pakistan etc.. and there was a 100 day plan when imran took over the office

But then there were talks that the previous governments have weakened pakistan to the core and 100 days or 1 term for imran khan is not enough to fix pakistan so the naya pakistan plan was delayed as imran khan needed 10-15 years to fix the old problems before naya pakistan could be implemented

Prior to that I was vouching for imran khan even though I'm not interested in pakistani politics
But I gave up because I couldn't wait 15 years or so.

My question is did you notice any difference after imran khan took the office compared to when previous governments were in the office?

Can you share any expirence?
