Qatar emir invites PM-in-waiting Imran Khan for visit

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Qatar s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani Tuesday telephoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and congratulated him on election win.

Extending an invitation to the prime minister-in-waiting to visit Qatar, Sheikh Tamim expressed his desire to expand ties with the incoming government in Pakistan.

On his part, Imran Khan said Pakistan accords great respect to ites ties with Qatar and expressed the hope that the two governments would work to improve the bilateral relationship.

The PTI chief in a wide-ranging address to the nation after election outlined a foreign policy based on strengthening ties with neighbouring countries, including Indian and Afghanistan.

He said Pakistan was ready to expand trade ties and would act as a mediator to end the ongoing rift between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

IK talked about being a mediator between Iran and Saudi a few days let's see how both countries react but i don't think MBS is going to like this statement. Qatar Emir i guess welcomed the statement

MBS needs a reality check. All they are good for is hiding behind the US. The minute the US pulls its backing from there so called "kingdom" we will see how long they survive. A united Muslim alliance would be excellent for everyone around except a few people on the outside.

True and Pak/Turkey with all their tech hands should come forward to form this alliance Saudis are nothing without their oil and money while Pak and Turkey are far ahead when it comes to military powers we build our own toys instead of looking at uncle Sam.
