Today's knock shows Umar Akmal is a much more mature player now, given the fact that team was poised to win when the run rate dipped to below run a ball. Batted in accordance to the situation.

Shane Watson won't be playing in the play offs. He seems to be getting QG off to fast starts. He will be a big miss.

QG have started well , but they will have off days. Be interesting to see how they react.

Multan were 20 to 25 runs short yesterday, definitely. I think the turning point was the dismissal of Evans and then the wickets that followed. Malik played a good innings but some mad stuff was required from him or from someone at the other end. As a Multan fan I`m seriously worried at the way the batting line-up is going and at just how much it relies on Malik alone. Christian, Russell and Afridi must step up in the middle and lower-order, otherwise things are looking gloomy right now. If things continue this way then Multan are done with qualifying for the play-offs. I hope for a soon turn around.
