Quetta Gladiators defeat Lahore Qalandars by 3 wickets in 12th match of PSL 4

What good does it do to PCB to have these empty stands, when stars are performing? Some cricketers love crowd. And you can see it's not there at all, on holiday.


If a entry fee is 10$ per match, on weekend, it should be 1$ on weekdays or during day time.

1000 spectators for 1$ would earn 1000 revenue
100 (not even that many in ground) at 10$ would earn same.

At least with 1st you would get some entertainment

Poor and pathetic from PCB. ALmost criminal when the likes of AB are playing

This is the state of playing cricket over the last 10 years in UAE. Empty grounds and poor pitches.
 
Excellent bowling from Mudassar today. So many pacers coming through only if we can get half as many decent batsmen as well.
 
Even as a Sarfraz fan i really want some keeper batsman to come and give him competition so that he doesnt get relax and work harder. But its so sad to see our domestic keeper batsman. Only one who can give competition to Sarfraz right now is Umar Siddique but he too doesn't keep now in one days and 4 days.

Yea. We have got no young good WK batsman. There should be a talent hunt arranged by PCB on this

Siddique is 26 and looked pretty good with both bat and glove yesterday for MS.

Umair Masood and Rohail Nazir can develop in few years and also some other young keepers can emerge at the same time. Siddiq looked decent with his keeping yesterday so can be a back up keeper in LOIs.
 
Not much competition for Nawaz, Shadab and Imad going on as other local spinners are mostly on the bench, cant blame franchises for that as they obviously have to look at their combinations.

Would really like to see a 7th team next year if possible.

Umar Siddique used to be a much better keeper 5 years back and used to be one of my fav keeper batsman.

The lad was unlucky that he was from Lahore and Umar, Kamran and Adnan were regular keepers for Lahore in regional tournaments. Thats one reason he is not keeping now in one days and 4 days in domestic and concentrating to become a pure batsman as he used to sit on the sidelines as a reserve keeper.

One other keeper who could have become quality is Jamal Anwar but his batting was not up to the mark but now he is opening for HBL department and scored a century too this season.

He has started keeping again this season for NBP in FC and List A.

Yes Jamal was a solid keeper, definitely one of the best around in terms of keeping.

Yes you are right about Siddiq but if Umar could keep for Pakistan, a natural keeper like Siddiq wont take much time to settle again into that keeping role.

I think right now Jamal is the best when it comes to pure keeping skills alone. He is even better than Rizwan.

More than that it will cover most of the missing talent from PSL and some already bencheed cricketers can probably get game time if selected for that team.

I guess there was a plan as well for next year but nothing confirmed yet.

They played 7 matches this FC season, he kept in 6, didn't play in the other game. Batted at 5/6.

In List A, he played 7 out of 8 matches and kept in all, opened the batting.

One other option is k reduce the number of foreign players from 4 to 3 in playing X1.

4 foreigners is too much and usually the 4th player isnt that good :/
 
Such a terrible wicket. Why you want to play T20 on such wicket? This type of wickets is PSL killer... UAE has run our cricket to ground...Hoor Bomb pharoy 👺👺👺
 
Amir Sohail is such a loser. Praising QG bowlers every match but haven't heard a single word of appreciation for Sarfraz.

Still salty how Sarfraz proved him wrong after his pathetic criticism on Sarfraz in CT 2017.

Even if some foreigners are of poor quality they help with the hype and branding of the league. PSL is producing players not only because of the quality of foreigners or other players but the pressure which is created by hype and platform that can be your ticket to national team.

Though I dont mind them to be 3 but PCB needs to carry out a survey that whether it will effect the franchise value for the next franchises.

Dunno who’s brilliant idea it was to change the wicket after that epic match yesterday.
 
Fakhar was impressive as captain for Balochistan in pentangular cup I guess couple of years ago. So really wanted him to captain. Afterall PSL should also be producing leaders.

Yes, he had natural talent to swing but lacked some other attributes to become a top bowler, his game sense and ability to outthink the batsmen.

While Amir had everything but now he is lacking bit of rythm and that natural swing which I am hoping he can find as he has everything to be a top bowler.

Its quite a paradox.

Put the pressure on QG and Roussouw had to go after Yasir and the latter just kept a tight line. Lahore in it!

Also glad he realised Rauf is a lot better with the semi new ball and at the death.
