Quetta Gladiators defeat Lahore Qalandars by 3 wickets in 12th match of PSL 4

Lahore needs wickets now. QG are getting easy singles and man how many chances of run outs have been missed.

Shaheen is rested due to stiffness. He has been pretty good with the new ball for LQ picking wicket almost every time in his first spell.

He was man of the series against NZ and was selected only on the basis of PSL and potential.

I meant nurturing with national team as Shaheen is being.

If he's to be selected and taken to the WC, then has to be picked and played in these 10 games to see how he does and has the fitness to play out too.

Yes if he is being considered then he will be picked for the Aus ODIs.

In that case, I have to say, Shaheen was never a PSL find. He made his name for his height and display in U19 WC, then even before PSL draft, he was picked by BPL (DD), and had a dream debut in FC cricket - PSL came after that. In fact, PSL hardly has picked any unknown talent (it's not possible in franchise T20 cricket) - none of the players hyped to be PSL gift are actually PSL find, rather they were picked by PSL teams for their prior potential - take any pick, Shadab had a 9 wickets (& probably century) game against ZIM A, Hasan was a potential PAK player from his FC season, Sharjeel was rather blocked from debut by at least 3 years to keep some spots safe, same can be said for Fakhar, while Nawaz was a PAK U19 star 6 years back, not to say much about Imam and Shan Masood is playing PSL after his SAF series, previously we have seen Asad Shafiq playing a full season of PSL......

In other way, PSL actually has blocked some career - Saud & Gohar is definitely, you can add Badar as well - had he not been wasted at 6-7 for Multan, he should have made it to PAK A, and he is in excellent form now, could have made it count against NZ A or ENG Lions.

Please stop hyping PSL - it's only purpose is to make money and channel that to domestic cricket. Expect anything else, it'll backfire - if you haven't seen that yet, you'll see it soon.

When did I say PSL is generating talent. It justs filters out some potential prosepcts.

If Shaheen wouldnt have played PSL, would he have been selected in Pak team?

What abt Bumrah and Yadav, irrespective of their FC record would they ever have been selected in Indian team without IPL performances?

When did I hype PSL? What are you even saying?

You feel the same way about BPL? Overhyped and nothing to offer other than spinning money and it has played no role in the current BD squads? Is it also gonna backfire soon?

Fakhar has his fielders too deep in the circle and is happy giving away singles which is criminal in today's cricket. Pakistan in general I've seen over the years do this setting the field too deep and allowing easy singles.
 
Rauf will have to do something special here to safeguard Weise in the last over
 
Poor stuff from LQ here. Both this should have been back in hut whiles ago

:) I have that explanation with data in that thread - please go back there and respond me. I don't like "such references" in other thread which actually tells exactly opposite of what I wrote there.

For a record - Bumrah was NEVR an IPL found and NEVER picked for his IPL heroics. Neither Kuldeep.

Please do bother to respond that thread which had enough data to back this.

So you are saying that Bumrah would have still played over top perfomers of FC if it wasnt for IPL?
 
Lol Tanvir coming in at 9. Serves him good. He used to promote himself above the deserving youngsters for Rams.
