Quetta Gladiators defeat Lahore Qalandars by 3 wickets in 12th match of PSL 4

You missed some other questions intentionally I guess. :uakmal

So you are saying that Bumrah would have still played over top perfomers of FC if it wasnt for IPL?

No, I didn’t need to reply that part because it’s subjective- no point trying to argue.

I replied the Bumrah part because you brought it out of context. And yes, I do believe Bumrah & Kuldeep would have been exactly same in terms of team india prospects regardless of IPL - BCCI selectors don’t put every egg in one basket. There are other IPL heroes, who haven’t made it.

I also believe players performing outside of PSL like Saud Shakeel, Zafar Gohar should be given the chnaces they deserve and at the same time I also believe if there is some talent glaring to the eye who performs in PSL should be considered if he has a future potential with Shaheen being the last example.

Abbas, Faheem and Imam are the ones who were selected purely on domestic performances and needs of the team.

Quetta Gladiators vs Lahore Qalandars | PSL 4 - Match 12 | 23rd Feb, 2019 | Sharjah | Match Thread

Just how brutal is the nature of T20 cricket? One day Wiese wins a match by hitting a six off the last ball, exactly 24 hours later he loses a match by conceding a six off the last ball! This must be kind of a record of some sort.

The turning point in my opinion was that controversial run out of Sarfraz which wasn't given. It seems very harsh but the rules sadly are in place that way. It is one thing where I can't even think of a solution, alternative or an alteration to the laws which might help the case. It's a difficult situation. Another thing that hurt Lahore was the injury to de Villiers. He of course did bat out the overs but he wasn't obviously able to move as freely afterwards, which might`ve hindered his 360° stroke-play that he's an expert at. No magic spray or a quick fix treatment can completely switch off the injury and get you back to moving as freely as you just did before the injury happened. So that hurt them badly.

Harris Rauf by the way is a seriously good talent. Really like his bowling. Has space, is good at yorkers and also at changing up the pace. I hope goes on to play for Pakistan soon.
