They didn't have Roy all season Hetmayer didn't play any games at all not sure why so proberly would have gone got to semi if They had all available.

Afridi let QG down. He should have known that his body was not up to playing a full season anymore. He should have fully retired in 2019.

They had great foreign pick in Roy and even likes of smeed did well. Also Ahsan Ali did well at top of the order. But really got hampered by the loss of Nawaz, Hasnain , and Afridi (he shouldn't have be in psl at all and someone else could have been chosen instead).
Even then they didn't make it mainly due to some big losses rather than points and did way better than Karachi Kings. Iftikhar was a great pick for middle order but somehow didnt fire at couple of crucial games for them.

They didn't make it becouse Roy didn't play the first half off the psl.

The foreign players by and large did what they could, but it was some of the experienced local players that let QG down with some poor performances and poor form.

If you are relying on 2 or 3 players out of 11 all the time, you will not win many matches.

I think biggest letdown was Faulkner. He was very poor couldn't even bowl at death in some games which cost them games. They could got a better foreign bowler or even allrounder. Plus Nawaz injury and Afridi who is finished they needed some other local allrounder instead
