I like the way shehzad is advancing against the spinners , one of the only batsman to successfully do it in this tournament, who agrees?
 
Is it just me or shehzad has changed his hitting technique? Now when he goes down the ground he uses a lot of wrist power and gives it a whip like kohli. He never used to do this before.

Shehzad again started aggressively, I think mentor of Quetta Gladiators Sir Vivian Richards started to have positive impact on him

Shehzad Doodh ka dhula huwa new born bacha hay na jo us ko on screen nazar lag jati hay :facepalm: Lekin I have to say Shezzy didn't do his usualy Tuk tuk here. 16 of 11 is quite useful if you're chasing 130 odd in a T20 game.

Shehzad is out, but that was brute of a delivery.

He looked very good against Asghar and the only one who looked good against him so far.

Also, Afridi picks up the big wicket.
 
Kamran Akmal getting the highest number of catches. Akmal has such a good dpi makes me wonder how many dismissals would he had if he was a better keeper

Well chased by Tait. It would have been a four if it was a Pakistani fielder.
 
Wahab used to bowl a good yorker since the watson spell he only bowls short should mix it up with a yorker or so. Otherwise batsman will just camp in the back foot and hit the short balls

You have not answered my question. The people who earn biggest are sloggers here. If according to you, quality of cricket is the focus then why not spend money on technically correct batsmen instead of big hitters? You cannot pretend that on the one hand you are going for quality and target and then pay big money to the big hitters

Pakistani domestic bowlers are better than the ones you see in IPL to begin with. Add a bit of Spice to the pitch and they become very good. Even then good batsmen should be able to play well and that's where PSL is lacking in my view.

Australians Warner, Smith, Finch, Maxwell, Faulkner, Indian top order, SA's Devillers, DeKock, Duminy, NZ's Guptill, Williamson are all missing in PSL. What you have are Pakistani players who are not so good batsmen to begin with along a few WI mercenaries and a few retired or has been stars.

PSL can create a unique identity by being a bowling friendly league but the batsmen still need to score well. 180 is a par score in T20s these days. Teams in PSL should at least score 160 consistently as in BBL. Other wise the interest will die down among casual fans who appreciate wickets, boundaries but not dots.
